My daughter was in the NICU for a month and I had horrible pains. I dismissed it for csection pains, moving too much too soon and hospital food the entire time.. Add in the stress and it was easy to convince myself that was the issue. I told my OB the night before my daughter was released and they tested me right away (appendix was already taken out). My levels were elevated for months, and I was retested every 2-4 weeks for 3 months before they started to hit a normal range. Good luck! I was thankful I didn&#39;t need surgery again. My son passed away 3 months ago after living for 25 days in the nicu. I feel like I can relate to your experience. I want you to know that if you ever want to talk to someone who can somewhat understand what you are going through, I am always avaliable. You can send me an email or call. So far, I have found its been nice to have someone to email who is in a similar situation. And for me it has been easier to talk to people going through this right now, instead of years ago. <br /><br />I am going through this every day. I have to tell people all the time and its not fun, I know. I know there is nothing I can say to make it better, just know that you can talk to someone who understands. I hope you have a good weekend and try to get some sleep.
