How is Friday? It was just Monday! I had my recipe post and a post about my office read and never hit publish. I really need to work on setting them up to post automatically. With that being said, I’m on blogger and seriously debating moving over to WordPress. I work with it quite a bit because of Every Day Cheer and Moms of Tulsa.
Joining in with some great gals for Five on Friday!
I’m working on starting the year, and hopefully finishing it, organized! Along with getting my office set up, I’m doing a few other things around the house! I ordered this piece as a entry storage piece to go by the door coming in from the garage. I’m doing to set up something above it to hang things on. It’s narrow and the perfect width, at 15″, to come off the wall enough to set things on. I believe it might have even been in the “media” section, but I figured with the baskets, that would be perfect for shoes and things 😉
I didn’t hit many “after Christmas sales,” but I have been still catching a few great deals here and there! For instance, if you are a Target jammie lover, now is the time to snag those jammies you’ve been eyeing all season. These were $24.99 to begin with and I got them for $7.98 per pair! Now that is a steal!
Speaking of steal, I love Sprouts Farmers’ Market. They have such a huge selection of gluten free items and I said this on Instagram yesterday, but I don’t think many (if any) stores can beat their produce selection/prices/sales. They are always so good! They do a weekly ad and Wednesday is double ad day so there are lots of things on sale. I got all of this for about $15. The organic bananas totaled $1.67. Six cucumbers for $3.00. The peppers were two for $1. Really. I do try to stick to organic most of the time, but a sale is a sale 😛
Have you all discovered how amazing the Veggetti? It’s amazing and I’m obsessed with it. I’ll be sharing some of the things I’ve made 🙂
Also, two other things I’m loving right now. Actually, I’ve loved these for quite a while now, but Brent gifted me these two particular ones for Christmas this year 🙂 I didn’t give him a list or any ideas, but I was tickled he went for two things I love. LAFCO soap is delicious and I love Kendra Scott earrings. The Duchess Peony is my favorite scent in the soap and I prefer the “Danielle” style in the Kendra earrings. Both can be found at some major department stores and some boutiques. You can also grab the soap on Amazon here. And $17 seems a bit expensive, but I make it last a while 😉
Happy Friday!! 🙂
