I hope you all had a great weekend!
Ours was very nice! My brother and his fiance came in town, from Texas, so we had lots of fun handing out with them!
Let’s start out with Friday. Here Knox & Sloane are watching my dad kill a snake. ARGH! I HATE SNAKES. It was just a small ones, but it still freaks me out! Actually, they mortify me. They pulled up their chairs for a front row seat.
We will be doing whatever snake prevention we can because I can see myself being paranoid all summer now. I don’t recall us seeing one last year at all!
Friday night, Brent and I ordered sushi in and watched Runner Runner. I hadn’t heart much about it, but we thought it was pretty good!
Saturday, we went to lunch at the Cheesecake Factory. It was a lot of fun. Knox is very into “happy to you” as I have previously mentioned. Basically he loves birthday parties. The day before was our niece’s birthday so he had been talking about it a lot. After lunch, by brother’s fiance had the waitress bring out little mini sundaes with a candle. We did a half birthday treat 🙂 Knox was in Heaven! It was so cute.
Saturday evening, we went to dinner and the casino. The kiddos stayed home, of course. I really am not a fan of gambling, at all. I just don’t like the thought of wasting money. BUT my parents gave us a bit to spend and I came home a winner! So, that was exciting 🙂 My mom always has great luck so it was probably because I was with her.
Sunday we did lunch at our house, before my brother and his fiance had to head back. Then, we were all stuffed from basically just eating all weekend, HA!
I, however, cannot stay away from creme brulee. My favorite part is the top, so I did some torching 🙂
Don’t worry, I didn’t sit down and them all right away, though I wanted to 🙂
Last night, we had some family over for our niece’s birthday. Always fun! This was the only picture I got. I’m not very good at snapping pics when I’m the host 🙁
Knox & Sloane went back to Mother’s Day Out this morning after being off last week for Spring Break. They were super excited. Now, I have a to-do list a mile long!
