Yesterday, The Everygirl featured 13 mom bloggers, including myself, to share their lessons in. We share our favorite products, advice struggles and more! I love The Everygirl site. They post all different types of things for all different types of women! You can check Lessons in Motherhood out here.
I don’t have an abnormally small foot, but lately I’ve purchased two pairs of shoes in the kids’ section at Target. I think they are super cute 🙂 Thankfully, also a few dollars cheaper. I needed a few pairs of sandals this summer, but didn’t want to spend much, so between Target and a few other inexpensive sights, I’ve picked up some cute ones! Speaking of, I just looked at GroopDealz and they have these black ones that I recently ordered from there. I think they are fun!
Brent’s mom was in town on Cohen’s birthday and she took some pics of us 🙂 They make me laugh. I think it was a combination of their age and over-exhaustion, but Knox and Sloane were running 90 to nothing. We couldn’t hardly chase them much less get a picture of us all looking. They also didn’t want to put their animals down that we got them for Cohen’s birthday, at the zoo. Regardless, I love the pictures so much. Is it weird that I would totally have family pictures done every month? haha. I’ll post more, but this one pretty much sums it up 😉
I will admit, when I recently went to Hobby Lobby and saw the Christmas decor being put out, I was a little taken back. I think it was about the first week in July when I went! People aren’t really messing around when they say, “Christmas in July,” are they? I started getting sale emails, too! I will admit, I did fall victim to some of those sales. I’m also always ready for this 🙂
I love Christmas.
I’m thankful that the kids are finally getting to an age where I can handle them places on my own. Not everyplace, but I’m speaking without being them in a stroller. We can go anywhere if they are in their stroller. For instance, I’ve been taking them to get frozen yogurt once or twice a week. The place isn’t too busy, so they kind of have free range if they want to walk around. Then, this morning I met Lindsey and Jack at Bounce-U. It was fun, but man, it kept me on my feet! haha It was a bit more tricky just because it was much busier than we had anticipated. They also don’t really separate younger kids from older all too well. Sloane is a good minder, but Knox usually tests me a few times before. He did good today, though, and when I was worried he wasn’t coming back after going to get a ball, Lindsey was there for an extra set of eyes and persuasion 🙂 We also went to Panera and ordered food today without any mishaps. Baby steps.
