Thank you for the comments on the last post about the kitchen. There were a few questions, so I’ll answer those in the comments shortly.
Guess what, Knox will get to celebrate with some yummy cookies this afternoon…..
because he doesn’t have Celiac! YAY!
If you are a new reader, Knox had some skin issues last summer and I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease in the fall. We had concern he may have it since I had skin issues with mine. Thankfully, his testing shows that he does not.
I think we are all quite relieved and while I don’t think we will switch him to a diet full of gluten, and he does have a little already, but we will definitely be inclined to let him eat more.
He hasn’t had any skin issues since last summer so our fingers are crossed that he outgrew whatever that was!
I think I posted just last week about how Sloane was chattering away and Knox still wasn’t. Well, this weekend he changed his mind and decided he wanted to talk, too! He isn’t trying sentences like Sloane, but he’s at least saying “mama” and “dada” 🙂 He was before, but never upon request or just to call for us.
He just seemed like a big boy this weekend. He’s still a skinny little thing as he is a bit stubborn when it comes to food, but he’s growing up. I wanted to put a frowny face after that, but I know I need to not be so sad about it. I am, obviously. I want to to slow down a bit.
He LOVES playing with balls and he always knows exactly what to do when he sees a basketball goal. This was at a birthday party we went to on Saturday. He dunks 🙂
He also loved running around the bouncy house and going down the slide at another party we went to on Saturday.
They will be 20 months on Friday. Pretty crazy. They aren’t scheduled for another ped appt until two year well check. Knox goes at the beginning of May to get his eye checked. It’s been doing good, but it definitely seems a little sensitive to the sun lately.
Hope you all had a good weekend!
