I feel like we had a whirlwind of a week last week. We had a bunch of things going on and I can’t believe it’s already come and gone. It kind of feels nice to just sit and not have any plans this coming week.
Knox & Sloane are loving Mother’s Day Out. They are doing better than I anticipated. No, Sloane won’t let me put any clothes on her babydoll, but we are working on it. Knox is getting curls, and though it looks a bit like a little rat’s tail, I really don’t want to cut anything.
Brent was nominated as one of Tulsa’s New Leaders and the event was on Thursday evening. The fundraising was donated to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, who hosted the event, and it was beautiful and so much fun! Our friend, Jane, was the speaker and she did amazing. She and her family are so strong.
We don’t hardly ever have anything to dress up for so it was kind of fun, although I feel like I never wear dresses anymore. Of course after three nights in heels, my sprained ankle is hating me today. I also wore clip on earrings, which I’ve never done. I got them probably ten or so years ago and I thought they looked pretty and sparkly.
One of my best friends had a sweet baby and I went to meet her on Friday. She is beautiful and so sweet! Newborns melt my heart. I can’t wait until I can hold her again 🙂
I picked them up some cupcakes as well as some for Knox & Sloane. I probably shouldn’t get them in the routine of having cupcakes when I pick them up from MDO, ha!
Knox gives the cutest cheesy grin if I put a flash on when I take a picture. It’s so funny!
The show was at a casino and my friend showed me the Sex and the City machine. I hate gambling because I don’t want to lose money but I get so tickled if I do win.
Wooooo. Now for rest. Oh, and a mini makeover for the kids’ bathroom this week!
Hope you all had a good weekend 🙂
