How is this week already coming to an end? I feel like it was JUST Sunday. Time flies. Knox was in a great mood today, but Sloane was teething. She mostly wanted to sleep and cuddle with me, which was fine by me for the cuddles. Her drool was out of control and I can’t get her to wear a bib now unless she is eating…..
She didn’t seem to get too bummed, but I could tell her little mouth didn’t feel great.
I can’t get over how much Knox is eating. He is finally eating some pasta. I knew he had a texture issue with it, so I’ve been persistant on putting it down for him to try. This one is a gluten free one and I made the sauce with their almond milk. The pasta was a bit al dente and the noodles were a great size. I can’t remember the brand, but I got it at Super Target.
Knox had been mocking us make sounds and he was making a clicking noise, so we taught him that’s the sound of a clock. Now, we can say, “Knox, what sound does a clock make?” and he will start doing it, and it’s great! He is so proud. It seems like the past few days he’s just so eager to learn so much. I love it. I love watching and I love teaching.
When Brent got home from work, we decided to run and get a few groceries at Target. Between juggling getting the babies fed dinner, cleaned up and the floor and mess cleaned up, I grabbed the first clothes I could run up and grab. It was much cooler today so we went with hats, too. Sloane just happened to get to wear her sequin one that her grammy got her. I think she liked it, but you could tell she didn’t feel great. Knox wasn’t really thrilled about being there because he skipped his afternoon nap was was ready for bed. In fact, at times, it looked as though he was going to fall asleep. Then, he people watched. At least they were well behaved and only threw their hats off once.
I hope you all had a good Thursday!
This was day 25 of 31 Days of Twin Treats!
