Instagram & Monday Ramblings

Be SURE to check out the giveaway for ShopSosie that I posted earlier (here.) You can win $100 gift card by just pinning a cute summer outfit :)

I got Instagram set up! I had been using it, but I never set it to be public when I first started. So, I had been doing an extra step by saving the pics to my phone and then tweeting. Instagram actually does it all for me :)

My username is "inthiswonderfullife" :)

We had a nice time celebrating Brent's birthday yesterday with our family :)
My mom made his favorite cake.

Here are Knox & Sloane playing before everyone arrived. I'm obsessed with these bubbles that SheSheMade made.

Sloane is standing so much!
They loved playing with their cousins...
and thinking about walking when no one is looking...

The birthday board sign that I posted the other day, and also in this post, is from Very Jane. The Etsy seller is "J is for Jordy."

Speaking of flash sale sites, GroopDealz has this great bubble bib necklaces right now for $19.99. Super good deal. I know they are way popular right now, but I love them!

I've been playing catch up today. It's hard to get any chore type tasks done on the weekend, so I rarely try. So, today has involved laundry, dish washing, and vacuuming (which really happens most days now that Knox & Sloane want to pick up every little thing.)

Tonight we are having leftovers from last night. I like when leftovers can be created into something else. You aren't necessarily eating the same thing. Brent has never been a big leftover eater and I usually only do certain things. Last night, we had pulled pork sandwiches. With our leftovers, tonight we are making street tacos. All delicious.

I'm hoping to get an Erin Condren planner ordered this week. I failed pretty miserably at using my last one, but I have higher hopes for my new one. I've been better at being more organized and I think it will help even more!

I also want to make a household organizational binder. I've seen lots of people do this and it really does seem helpful.

I'm hoping to go see some friends new babies this week, now that Knox & Sloane are all over their sickies. I didn't want to carry anything to anyone else.

I feel like my font is smaller in my posts. Blogger is irritating sometimes.

What do you all have going on this week? Anything good on your dinner menu?

  8. They are so cute! Where did you get those storage things behind Knox and Sloane? It looks like they have toys in them.

Isn't Cassidy so pretty? I love her dark hair and blue eyes. She reminds me a lot of my daughter.

I made a chicken recipe that was super easy and delicious the other night...

    Crockpot Zesty Chicken

1 package of raw chicken tenderloins
    1 package taco seasoning
    1 package Ranch seasoning
    1 can chicken broth

Combine the broth and seasonings; mix well.
    Add the chicken.
Cook on high for 4 hours or low 5-6 hours.

After it's cooked, shred with a fork.
I served it on heated corn tortillas with sauteed onions and peppers. I topped it with a little fat free sour cream and cilantro.
