Knox & Sloane turned 44 weeks this week. I know, who counts weeks still? I just wanted to do every week for the first year, although I still have a few posts to go back and do. The last one I did was 37 weeks.
Anyways, so they are just over 10 months! We had a good week.
Sloane is letting go of things and standing all by herself. She gets so excited. Just in the past day or two you can see Knox thinking about letting go as well.
They bump heads a lot.
Knox screams if he can’t have what he wants or if Sloane takes something from him. She is still nice and generally gives it back. Probably because she doesn’t want to hear him scream.
Knox is refusing or spitting out most foods besides toast, cheese, yogurt, cheerios. I don’t think he likes the feel of wetness…in his mouth or on his hands.
Sloane eats as much of anything she can get her hands on. It’s hilarious.
They loved celebrating Father’s Day with their daddy. I have some other pics I will post of that soon.
They took their first bath in our big bath tub. They really liked it, but as soon as I put soap in, things got slippery. I’ll probably have to put the slip things down.
Last Friday, Brent took them to Target to pic up a few things. He texted me this picture. So great. I loved his basket hanging on the stroller, too. haha
Lots of baby proofing about to happen. We have one gate, but I need to get one wide for the top and bottom of the stair case. Kitchen cabinets, we are doing this weekend. Sloane loves opening them..
I did get a plastic play yard. They seem to do pretty good in it, but I need a second one for more space. They are a bit tight in just one. I spend most of my time in the floor with them, but it got to where they were freaking out if I had to run to the bathroom, go grab laundry from the dryer, etc. I think they need to start having time where they can play without me and hopefully the play yard helps. Not to mention, chasing them in an unconfined area is getting hard!
Sloane is obsessed with purses. She is such a girl…
They love playing in the windowsill. This was a bit tricky at first, but they finally figured out not to trample on one another. They are looking at Elton in this picture, but typically they are looking out the window or at their reflections.
Sloane woke up early one morning after tinkling out her diaper and onto her jammies. We brought her to hang in bed with us. We did turn on some cartoons for her 🙂 Distracted her from wanting to jump off the bed. I thought she looked so cute and chubby and sweet with her daddy…
Some of these are a little blurry, but Sloane kept making the funniest faces and clapping. I think she liked the big tub and ducky.
Happy Friday 🙂
