I took a few days off from blogging to celebrate Cohen's birthday and spend time with friends in family in Dallas. We are home and looking forward to resting tomorrow.
I just wanted to say we greatly appreciate all your thoughts and prayers during this week. All the comments, tweets, texts & emails mean a great deal to us. You guys have seriously been with us through it all.
I still can't believe it's been two years.
It was a nice celebration of Cohen's second birthday. I know his party was lots of fun. Our celebration down here is a bit different, but we will always celebrate him coming into our world on June 7th.
We will always think of him leaving our world on June 18th.
I will do more of a recap of our last few days probably over several different posts.
All of his birthdays will be special to us, but this one we went back to the hospital for the first time. We walked the same halls. We talked to his doctors. We felt some of the pain we lived through two years ago.
However, were able to smile as we brought a part of Cohen back into the hospital with our donation project. It was a great experience.
I did better than I thought I would. Brent did worse than he thought he would.
We held two babies as we were leaving the hospital. That was a completely different feeling than the last time I left that hospital. Leaving the hospital two years ago still makes me sick to think about.
I want to thank you all who helped with the iPods. I can't say thank you enough. Thank you to those still wanting to help as well! Almost half of the iPods have been paid for through donations and that is AMAZING! I know so many of you, like us, are so grateful to be willing to help other families who will truly benefit from this project.
The hospital was so happy to receive the iPods. The music therapy program will be running the program and they, along with the doctors and nurses, said the iPod Touches will be a great asset to the patients and families.
We were so thankful they all felt the same way we did.
There were also several DFW news channels who covered the story at the hospital and interviewed us as well as the music therapists. I will post links once I have them all. Children's will also have something going up on their blog
The hospital gave us a very special gift that had made for Cohen. I can't wait to show you all and we will always keep it very near dear. It is a beautiful gift!
Let's see what else, I'm exhausted.
Today, we had lunch with amazing girls I've met through blogging and they are all SO sweet. Thank God for blogging.
The Lovin' Cohen headbands did sell out, but they are making more! They will be a different style (you can read about that here) and I will post about that soon.
Sorry this is all over the place. As are my thoughts :)
sweet dreams.
phone by Brent's mom. more to come :)

Thinking of you. I'm so glad so many iPods could be bought and to help such an amazing cause.
