Perfect Summer Treat!

I recently tried the new Breyers Blasts! Chocolate REESE'S. :)

This new variety features chunks of REESE'S Peanut Butter Cup pieces and REESE'S Peanut Butter swirled in chocolate frozen dairy dessert.

Ya'll, it is yummy!

It's creamy chocolate with chunks of REESE'S peanut butter cup inside it!

REESE'S peanut butter cups have always been good to me, but I've tried not to eat them too often because it's something I could eat tons of.†

The product is sweet, but not too sweet, although it is pretty rich! I like how it's 'blasted' with chunks throughout. So, it's kind of exciting when you get one. :)

Brent also really enjoyed it. I'm always nudging him to take a bite of things and sometimes he obliges and sometimes he doesn't, but as soon as he saw the REESE'S on the container, he agreed to a nice-sized bite! He then said, It actually has chunks of peanut butter cup in it! I explained that that's the "blast" part. ;)

It was easy to scoop out just with my spoon. Honestly, I'm not a huge fan of ice cream scoops because really, it's just creating more dirty dishes, so I was glad I didn't have to struggle to get this stuff out of the container.

I will use a scoop when scooping for others, though! I think it's a nice treat to have when entertaining. It's not something you can just leave sitting out, so when people are over, it's kind of a fun surprise to whip out, especially if they aren't expecting it. I will also admit that sometimes I forget to pull it out while we are entertaining. That leaves me with quite a bit once people go home!

This summer, I want to make an effort to have fun with frozen treats, and of course, once the babies are older, I know this won't be an issue. I know Knox & Sloane can't wait until they are old enough to eat them! :)

For now, they have lots of friends who are a bit older that I know will enjoy these treats!

I'm really itching to try the Breyers Blasts! OREO Birthday Blast! This one has OREO cookie pieces and rainbow sprinkles in artificially flavored cake-flavored frozen dairy dessert. It's not in any stores in my area, but I'm really hoping it will be soon. :) I think I even saw a SNICKERS Bar Blast that I may pick up the next time we have people over.

What I want to know is, how would you and your family enjoy Breyers Blasts!? Do you eat it after dinner for a treat? Do you have it at parties?
