Dear Daddy

Dear Daddy,

I'm so blessed to have you as my dad.

From the time I can remember, I remember you coming home from work and playing with Brian and I. I remember you letting me stand on your feet while you walk. I remember you always taking us to all of our school activities and to father/daughter dances with me for Girl Scouts. You were always there for us.

Thank you for going above and beyond to be a good dad and to provide me with way more than I could possibly ever want or need.

Thank you for teaching me what a dad and a man, for that matter, is supposed to be.

Thank you for loving my kids as though they were your own. They are here because of you.

I'm so thankful that you and mom decided to adopt after ten years of trying to have a baby. I have a wonderful big brother. I'm so thankful I was born fourteen months later ;)

Dear Daddy,

We are so blessed to have you as our dad.

Mommy told us from the second you became a dad, she knew how what an amazing father you would be. Actually, she says seeing you with Elton showed her how lucky us kids would be.

She told us that she feels super blessed to have you as her husband and our daddy.

She told us how bad your heart hurt to see Cohen sick and to go to Heaven. She told us that you love him so much and we will all get to see him again one day.

We love that we get to see you every morning when we wake up and eery night you tuck us in. We love that as son as you walk in the door from work, you wash your hands and come directly to us to play. We love how excited you get when we do things. We love how you smile so big at us. We can't believe it's almost been a year since we were born. We are so excited for all of our years with you. They pass too quickly, but we will love every minute of it.

Thank you for being such a good daddy...even with all the poop and a few stressful moments.
