You may remember me posting about my friend, Katheryn, here.
She recently lost her son to SMA. He was just 30 days old. He was a beautiful baby boy.
Coming from someone who has had to say goodbye to their baby, I know that the feelings never go away. You want them back everyday. You think about having to say goodbye as you held them. You know they are healthy and in no pain and you look forward to seeing them again. However, it is a constant battle of mixed emotions. God’s plan isn’t one we always understand, but we just have to have faith.
Like any illness that takes a child, it’s a hard hard thing. It teaches the world we need to team together to find cures for these types of things.
Katheryn has set up an organization to help spread the word about SMA and I wanted to share it all with you. You can read more about SMA HERE.
You can find Blake’s Journey on Facebook HERE.
Please help Katheryn and others, more than you would even think, spread the word to help find a cure.
She can also send you stickers or bracelets if you contact her.
