Weekend & Winner :)

I hope you all had a great weekend!

Ours has been very nice! Thankfully we have avoided the damaging storms. We had a bad one early this morning, but no tornadoes. Now, it's nice and sunny outside. I'm so sad for all those who lost their homes or a loved ones in the Oklahoma storms.

Friday night we watched Midnight in Paris. It was a bit slow, but we both like Rachel McAdams. Although, I can't say it was worth our time. We then randomly decided to watch three episodes of a new series series on Starz called Magic City. I think it was pretty good. Maybe yet to be determined. For dinner, we had chicken stuffed with basil, sun dried tomatoes and goat cheese, herb rice & potato salad. All favorites and I'd consider making these at least once a week.

Saturday, we went to our friend's first birthday! Saxon's Circus :) We were so sad we couldn't make to to Chloe's picnic party :(

The circus was lots of fun and momma did such a good job planning! She had me take some pics before everyone arrived so I'll most some of those soon. SO CUTE!

The cake was AMAZING!...birthday boy loved it, too :)

Knox & Sloane had a good time and were so sweet to everyone! Knox actually did a lot of snoozing on Brent.

Sloane loved the party hats :)

.....and can we talk about how BIG she looks in this picture below? They are both getting big! Picture on right is her with our friend Grant. She was quite the little flirter...

We woke the babies up this morning an hour early because were under a tornado warning and didn't want them to be upstairs. They've been sleepy heads after missing that hour. I caught Knox sleeping like this and thought it was so funny...

When they woke up, I looked at the monitor and Sloane had one finger on her breathable bumper. She was pulling the mesh down so she could see Knox. I panned over to him and he was waving, haha.

Lots of teething going on as well. Not fun :( I think Sloane may be cutting another today.

They did try puffs today. Knox took well to them and Sloane isn't sure yet.

Also lots crawling and exploring going on....

Fun weekend :)

  3. Hey i am a total stranger but i enjoy reading your blog. I have one child at the moment that just turned 5 and as silly as it sounds I have been emotional about her getting older. Time sure does fly! The real reason i had to comment was to first tell you how beautiful your babies are but also to tell you how GREAT you look after having twins! Seriously! I hope that doesnt sound creepy but i figure we women love a good compliment anyways! God Bless!

  6. I think a circus party would be so much fun to plan! I thought Midnight in Paris was pretty good, but not one I would want to watch repeatedly. I love Paris (been twice) and into art, history, etc so I really enjoyed the theme of the movie.
