Midweek Randoms :)

Happy midweek :)

• Knox & Sloane say thank you for all the sweet comments on the 'Twin Treats' post yesterday. I know there are people out there that think, geesh, this woman posts a LOT of pictures of her kids! haha. 

• I've not done 'Midweek Randoms' in a few weeks and you know I'm busting at the seams! haha. Of course, I have a few things on my mind this morning, but I know there is some other things I really wanted to share with you all, but can't think of it. Isn't that how it always happens?

• The Heart Walk this weekend and I'm so excited :) I know it will be bittersweet as we are doing it for a life lost, but we will have two such precious little lives with us. I know Cohen looks down on us and knows we think about him lots.

• I can't believe Cohen's second birthday will be here before we know it. I'm also quite excited to be getting the iPods for the Children's Medical Center. If you are new, you can read about iPods from Cohen here. We also have a few fundraisers going on here, and I'll be posting about a few more soon. 

• Speaking of, I've been putting back all sponsor revenue for the iPods for a while. Anyone that sponsors in May, that will also go towards the iPods :) 

• I received a prayer request for for a little girl born with Tetralogy of Fallot (Congenital Heart Defects.) They didn't know of the diagnoses until after birth. Their blog is here.

• Do you all play BUNCO? I wanted to share a new app with you! Buncolator! A friend of a friend created this app and it's a great idea! What is it? A bunco calculator :) That's where the name derived from as well. It's easy, saves time, paper, etc :) Check it out of you are a Bunco player. 

• Speaking of friends, I know I have several gals in Northwest Arkansas reading. I have a friend who is super talented when it comes to makeup! She just returned after training and working in LA. I was just browsing her Facebook page and thought how I should share her name with you all. She does weddings, proms, photo shoots...ANYTHING. If you or anyone you know needs her assistance, give her a call :) She also did my make up for my wedding, too! The Ashley Gregory Makeup website and portfolio are HERE and Facebook page HERE .

• I was a bit hesitant, but I think the sweet potato tots from Sonic are pretty good! I love Alexia sweet potato everything. We make those at home and our favorite is the sweet potato waffle fries. Anyways, Sonic's are obviously probably not as healthy, but still a good option for a snack on the go! 

• I'm helping with a birthday party this weekend, a baby shower the following weekend and a baby shower the weekend after that. Busy! These fun goodies may be used at one of the showers :)

• The birthday party this weekend is a "Roaring Twenties" theme. I need to work on my flapper dress! 

• I got these shoes for my birthday and I love them. They are off Totsy and I think they were only about $15! 

• We had some more painting done to our house on Monday & Tuesday. They got it down SO quickly. I was also very thankful for no VOC paint. We didn't have to worry about a smell. We've decided to live with the dark trim a bit longer. I really don't mind it too much at all. I just think I'd like lighter trim better. We will see. I LOVE the new lighter walls, though. It makes SUCH A huge difference. I love bright! This pic was when they were painting, so you can see the old color as well. The sun was shining pretty bright so it doesn't seem like their is quite as big of a difference as their actually is. I'll post before and after pictures soon.

• A few people have asked about the kitchen. I've not posted pics, but will soon. I was going to wait until the area off the kitchen was done, too, but it might take a while so it could be a while on that. I'll try to get some pics taken soon of kitchen, though. 

• It's been so nice the past few days!! I really want to get Knox & Sloane a little pool :)

• Who can pass up Easter clearance? You may remember I stocked up last year, so this year I figured I didn't really need anything! Easter eggs, though; you can never have too many of those! These were dirt cheap and so cute. The white ones are baseball looking :)

• I'm itching to go to a movie. I want to call and see if the 3D Titanic is playing anywhere here. 

• I don't have to many girls nights at all lately, but this week, I'm managing to have two! Sunday night, I went with some girls who I'm friends with through blogging. Most I've been friends with for several years now and it really is so nice to have met them from blogging! I love them :) Tonight, dinner with some old friends and sister, all in which I've not seen near enough of lately!

• Okay, the dryer is going off and I hear some babies jabbering as they wake up from their nap. Hope you all have a good day!!
