Thank you for the sweet comments on yesterdays post <3
The twins are on their 24th week 🙂 Otherwise none as closer to six months everyday. Sadz. haha.
This week they have been funny and a little sicky.
They are starting to talk to one another. It use to be that they would wake up from nap and were very ready to eat. They would let me know by fussing. Now, they wake up and talk for a bit and then I go up there. It’s cute.
Last week, I posted how Knox had been sleeping face down. I think that’s passed. This week, he mostly slept on his tummy with his head to the side.
A few weeks ago, I put bumpers back on their crib except for one long side each. I did that so that they could still see one another. Knox is a mover and a shaker so he had been hitting his head and getting his arms and legs in between the bars. He occasionally still does on the bumperless side, but now he has seemed to have realized he likes to cuddle the bumpers, which you will see below. I decided to give him a lovey and see if that would help. He’s not putting his face right up to it..just hugging with his arms. It really is pretty cute.
I think they are intentionally trying to take one another’s toys now. Of course, sometimes it upsets them and sometimes it doesn’t.
They seem to have gotten over being sick, for the most part. Still keeping an eye on it. Sloane has been sneezing like crazy. She does it right in my face, too. The doctor said we also needed to watch that because they could get us sick, too : / Still no fevers and their coughs seem to be a lot better. I don’t think Knox has really coughed coughed in about 24 hours.
They are really wanting to stand up when we hold their little hands. It’s crazy.
Brent’s been bathing them and just holding them, but they are getting to squirmy and big so I need to get some kind of something for them to sit in until it’s time for them to be without. Any suggestions?
Funny story… I could see they were both awake and playing in their crib at the end of a nap. When I opened their bedroom door, I saw Knox close his eyes. I walked over to him and his eyes were closed, but he was smiling. I told him I knew he was awake. He tried to stop smiling, but it came right back. I tickled him and his eyes popped right open and he started laughing. It was SO FUNNY. He was trying to fake being asleep! haha
A good portion of pictures I posted here, from when we were on our long adventure to the doctor.
Here are a few more 🙂
We all love when daddy gets home 🙂
They are so smiley when waking up…
The chair doesn’t have anything on it, but it sure looks like it does in this picture. I’m not sure what fabric it is, but it’s awesome. It cleans up so well when we do get something on it.
My friend, Jennifer, is having another Very Jane sale right now! This time it’s on curtain panels. She is making Knox & Sloane’s now, for their new nursery. I will look back to see who was interested in buying their first pair, that do not fit.
