Yesterday Knox & Sloane were 21 weeks old! They will be 5 months old this next week!!
They are giggling, smiling, squealing, rolling over, mocking us, holding hands.
We laugh and laugh at them everyday.
Yesterday they had an off up time in between naps and were both kind of fussy. That wasn't too fun. It's really not often that they both get whiny. I figured they were tired or hungry and since they had eaten good, I put them down for their nap about 15 minutes early and they were out like a light until it was time to wake. Growing babies!
My guess is they are close to about 13 pounds each. Sloane is still a bit bigger, but I really think Knox is catching up!
They are still sleeping good and last night was their first night not to be swaddled and to be in their own cribs. They did SO good. We are so proud of them. Sloane was asleep before Brent and I made it down the stairs and Knox wiggled for a while but made no noise. We left their room about 8pm and Sloane was the first to make a peep, but not until 6:30! So relieved. I was expecting it to be rough. They did wiggle around a bit more throughout the night when I would look over at the monitor, but I hope they continue to adjust well.
We are going to continue to try and swaddle them for their naps as we've been told that adjustment can be quite a bit more difficult.
Knox has still been stuffy and congested, but actually this morning was the first he hasn't started coughing about 5am. So maybe that has passed. Hopefully!
A few people asked after I posted the room thermometer we got, I did get an Angel Care monitor with the temp, so that will be nice to have. I'll be able to see the temp downstairs on the monitor. We will prob just leave the room one in there, though, so we can check it while up there :)
Knox is SUCH a wiggle worm! He is all over the place. He isn't crawling of course, but he pushes himself. On the activity gym, he always turns on his side and gets as close to Sloane as he can, with his feet on her, or he will put his legs up on the gym. It's so funny.
You all have seen lots of pictures over the past two weeks, but here are just a few more ;) I'll upload some videos soon.
Getting all snug in their new sleep sacks :) Sloane's cheeks always start getting rosey about 5-6, but I do think my phone makes both of their cheeks always look redder than they really are.
It looks like there is a blanket or something on the bottom of Knox, but it's just his sack.
Can you tell this was a bittersweet moment for me? haha.
How funny are these? For Christmas, some of our family got Sloaney this fun outfit from Baby Gap. Too cute! Knox's outfit was a bit small, but I thought it matched Sloane's well :) She was really rubbing her eyes before I took these pictures, so they are pretty red looking. Not to mention, I might have slid her hat down once or twice on accident.
My camera settings were off at first, but this picture looks cool..
Here they are yesterday. We wore puppy clothes because we were missing Elton. He will be home next week after he recovers from his surgery!
My brother got them some fun Arkansas blankets for Christmas! They also fold up and make pillows. Very cool.
My cousin made the babies these adorable hats!!! Knox's is starting to get a bit snug, but I can probably loosen it up some. They are pretty cute in hats, I must say.
I mean, seriously? look at that face....
It's kind of weird to see them with a flash on them, huh? You can see all their little hair :) I swear Sloane's is looking more dark red! I need to post a picture of her party in the back. That's where she has the most hair.
We all love bath time :)
I think Knox looks so cute in his stretchies...
Sloane's favorite toy, her feet...
They got this turtle for Christmas and they love it. They push on the buttons and stuff..
Happy Saturday :)

SO cute. The white hat on Slaone is adorable!! Very vogue!
So cute! I never noticed how pretty Sloane's eyes are!! Cuties!
They are so amazingly sweet! My daughter has that boston terrier onesie, it is too small now, but hoping for another girl next time so I can re-use ;)
They are just adorable!
These babies get cuter and cuter each week, Megan! I love Sloane's Boston Terrier onesie :)
Omg they get cuter by the minute! I just showed my hubby the pics and even he agrees. Im so excited about the playoff games coming up. Getting ready to go get Outback takeout , want something? Bloomin onion coming up ha ha! Go patriots, go ravenns! Have a great weekend Megan.
So cute!!!
I am wondering-- my baby is a HORRIBLE SLEEPER!
Just HORRIBLE! she cried and cries from 8pm-2am the first 6 months of her life. She started teething and had 2 teeth at 4 months pf age an has been popping out teeth every month- and every form of relief we tried to no avail!
Do you think your kids sleep better because of the Moms on call helped you with your twins routine? I am wondering because maybe with our baby #2 (when THAT day comes) I will give them a buzz. I don't want to relive what we had to deal with our first one! :-[
Oh my goodness they ate they sweetest twins EVER!!!!! And I hope Elton is doing well!!
oooh they are soooo cute! I don't know how you manage with twins. I would be so overwhelmed!!!
I can't even stand how cute K & S are! I just love all the pics you post of them!! Thanks for sharing!
As always, I love those sweet faces in the pictures. It is so sweet that Knox is always touching his sissy. Love it!
i could look at pictures of them all day long. they are amazing!
oh my goodness... Sloan... that hat! They are both so PRECIOUS!
ack! SLOANE. Sorry!
Beautiful doesn't even begin to describe these two. The picture of Sloane (with the flash on)....OH. MY. GOODNESS. I have never seen prettier eyes on this Earth. She is absolutely gorgeous. I think Knox looks like a litte professor. Very serious looking face. :) They are both precious.
Oh. Just a thought.
Can you do a tutorial on how you swaddle your babies with the sleep sacks you use? Please? :-)
Hey Megan,
Random question...what kind of pacifier does Sloane use? My sweet darling is a month old & cannot find a paci that doesn't make her angry/gag. On the hunt to try them all & I don't know what kind Ms. Sloan uses. Thanks!!
cute! I'm jealous of the awesome sleepers, Lainey used to be a great sleeper, not sure what happened. I had to stop swaddling her two nights ago because she's started rolling over in her sleep and it makes me nervous to have her swaddled. She's still in my room though :)
They are just too sweet! What a blessing for you two! Love watching them grow!
Loyal follower...but new to commenting! :) Thanks for sharing your family with us! You can read about mine: www.walkinginhisplan.blogspot.com.

Can you please tell me what kind of pacifier Sloan is using. It looks like a gerber pacifier that my son used 6 years ago when he was a baby. We've tried several pacifiers with my 5 month old daugher when she was a newborn and nothing worked. Finally, we broke down and gave her one of my son's old pacifiers. She loved it and it is the only one she will take. The problem is, they don't make those gerber pacifiers anymore. So, I was really surprised to see Sloan with a pacifier that looks like the gerber pacifiers my son used. Please let me know what the pacifier is and where you got it. I greatly appreciate it.
Adorable!!! Sleep sacks are one of the best inventions!
