I was going to say "Happy......." but I'm not even sure what day it is. Thursday? haha wow.
- If you missed my post last night on Elle & Ollie, check it out here.
- Well, the day started off not so great. At 8:30, Brent called to tell me he had been rear ended. He was at a stop light and a lady smashed into the back of him. She was going a pretty fast speed. NOT fun. Thankfully, they are both okay. He was pretty distraught thinking about how the babies could have been in the car. People need to pay attention. He mentioned to the lady that she needed to do so because he could have had his kids in the car. She told him she had kids, too. Well, even more reason to pay attention. Of course, every wreck these days makes me wonder if the person was texting. I mean Brent was at a complete stop with cars in front of him stopped, and she still slammed into him :(
- We got our first snow of the night last night. Well, we might have had a few flurries already, but first snow that had a bit of accumulation. Granted, we woke up to a bright shinning sun, so it won't last long. I did let Knox & Sloane know, though. I told them next year they would have snow suits and could go outside and play.
- If you are in the market for a new pair of boots, HauteLook has some of my favorites on today. These restricted ones are on sale for more than half off. Great deal.
- I've had several people email me about sweet Liam Lyon. He is SUCH A strong boy. He is going through so much and putting up a great fight! He and his family would appreciate the prayers. You can find his Facebook page here.
- There is also a little girl named Madeleine who has been diagnosed with a rare brain tumor and is also going through a great deal to survive this. You can find her page here.
- I enjoy sharing prayer requests because I do believe in the power of prayer, but man, it makes me so sad for all the sick kiddos :(
- I'm working hard to respond to a few emails everyday. I still have quite a full inbox so bare with me.
- I've gotten SO many emails on breastfeeding that I'm tempted to do a post on it, but I can't decide. I am responding to the emails, though.
- What else am I thinking in my random head.
- Oh, totally addicted to Pinterest. I laid in bed last night thinking about things I had seen on there. Really? Is that normal?
- Here is the state of our kitchen? Ah yi yi. Hoping it doesn't taking long.
- I need to paint my toenails ASAP. Their current condition is probably unacceptable. I forget about them during the winter. Well, perhaps not forget, but I put them on the back burner.
- Brent went shopping at Bed Bath & Beyond a few days before Christmas. He got me several things for my stocking. He found these little things, Plink, and when I opened them, he said, "I thought we could try this since your mom is always cutting up our lemons and putting them down the sink." haha. We've used them once and I really think it helped, but I won't know until a few more uses. Also, a quick stink solution is ice while the disposal is going!
- I think these are a seasonal item, but I'm still munching on them. They are SO GOOD.
- Is it bad that I have no idea was Blissdom is? I've seen people tweeting about it for weeks and I've not yet asked anyone or Googled it.
- I can't believe Knox & Sloane are almost five months old. Seriously, how did that happen?
- Elton had his surgery today and is doing well! We also got his teeth cleaned while in surgery.
- The flowers Brent got me for my birthday still look amazing. Seriously, the biggest I've ever seen.
- The cake, well, it's gone ;)
- Brent got me a beautiful peridot ring for my birthday :) I LOVE it. It's the twins' birthstone. I still haven't made up my mind on what I want to do with myAlexandrite stone, but hopefully I can find away to tie them together :)
- Don't forget this week's Erin Condren giveaway!
- Hope you are having a good day!

I'd love to read a post from you about breastfeeding! I got such positive feedback when I wrote one. One woman even emailed me to say she had looked up the post on her phone and reread it from her hospital bed because she was feeling discouraged about how things were going...how awesome is that!? I think you're amazing for bf'ing twins...I have just one and will fully admit it's hard sometimes!
Blissdom- it's a blogging conference. Like BlogHer's annual one. I only know cause one of the bloggers I read went last year :)
My husband and I use the plink stuff too. It works for a couple of days maybe. Im constantly sticking them down our disposal! Then again the thought of a disposal kind of makes me sick!
Have a wonderful day!
OMG so thankful that Brent is ok after the accident and that K&S weren't in the car!! Also, I use those Plink drops ALL the time.. love them!
I've used Plinks for a few years and really like them. I really only need to use them when I've used the disposal a bunch or I've left some dirty dishes in the sink and it makes everything lemony fresh! They also have an orange scent and lavender. Anyway, good stuff.
YES on the breastfeeding post!! I am fairly experienced (15 months with son #1, 17 months with son #2) but with twins due annny day, I am getting nervous about how the logistics of nursing two works out. I'm clueless!! Help!!
Thank you so much for spreading the word about my sweet cousin, Madeleine. We just got news that the cancer has thankfully not spread anywhere else in her body, it is centralized to the tumor in her brain. She begins chemo today. Thank you again so much for spreading the word!
Hello! I read ur blog everyday, and had a questions for you. Where did u get those cupcake toppers from? It must of been from a few months age I think. They looked like stickers stuck in w toothpicks. Thanks!
If you would like to send my email on to someone who has questions about breastfeeding, feel free. :) It can be very discouraging and I have been there (as you know).
I love those boots too but I'm nervous to order shoes/boots/clothes from the net! I kinda like to see and try them on before I purchase. Hmm...
So sorry about that wreck! Sometimes there's just no way around it. And truthfully, God knew exactly when that accident would happen. He made sure your twins were not with Brent. You never, know...maybe this accident will cause the woman who hit him to be more cautious when she drives.
Those are favorite almonds. They are seasonal. Mom bought some last year and i craved them all year!!I have a can right now.
Hope you have a great week.

I'd love to read a post from you about breastfeeding too. I'm an expectant mom and I'm still uncertain about my feeding plans. I love to hear about other people's experiences!
PLEASE do a post on breastfeeding!!! I'd love to hear how you got the babes to sleep so well when you first brought them home, too! I know you keep to a strict schedule but I was never able to get my kids to fall asleep unless they were 'on the boob' so I'd love to hear some tips!! And how do you keep them from falling asleep while they're nursing?!?!
Oh no what happened to Elton? Hope he's okay. Yes please! to a breastfeeding post!!
I have used those plink things! I love how quick and easy it is!! Although it only lasts a day or two, which granted is more than sliced lemons will, but I guess its just whatever you feel like doing.
My favorite way to clean my garbage disposal is the standard baking soda and vinegar. It always cleans it well, and while it doesn't smell, it definitely takes the odors away!!!
Glad Elton did well in his surgery!
Love the boots!

Plink is amazing! We used them when we lived in the states....i loved how great it smelled!
PLINK is awesome!!
So glad Brent is ok , saw you tweeting about it, way to many accidents happen because of texting, sad.....people here do their makeup or hair while driving...scary
Oh my goodness- thank god Brent was ok!! I didn't know about blissdom either until the other day! I would love to read a post from you on breast feeding- I nursed both of my daughters and it was one of the best experiences if my life- I love the bond it created.
Ha! If thinking about stuff on pinterest late at night isn't normal, then I'm not normal either! I actually dreamed one night about pinning things!
Oh man! So sorry about the wreck. That stinks! We got a little dusting of snow...it was just enough for me. Those flowers are gorgeous! Star gazer lilies are my favorite...I had them in my wedding.
I can't live with the plink balls or lemons!
I find it truly scary the number of people who do not pay attention when driving! So thankful the babies were not in the car!
I would love if you did a post on breastfeeding. I struggled with it and would love to try any tips if we have another baby someday.
Please pray for Tripp and his sweet mama as she prepares to say goodbye to her beautiful brave boy. Pray for peace and no more pain. Xo

as a fellow breastfeeding mommy of twins I would LOVE to hear your ideas.
So gald B is okay!
Blissdom is a blogger conference. I read quite a few blogs of women who attend.

Please do a breast feeding post! As a new mom struggling to establish a good breastfeeding routine, everything I can read and every successful mom's opinion really helps.
I'm expecting twins in April & would love love for you to do a BF post!! It's so hard to find other moms who attempt to nurse twins- any advice would help!! You sound like you're a pro :)
