Since I got behind last week with the holiday, I decide to combine weeks 14 & 15 🙂 today, Knox & Sloane are 15 weeks old!
They are growing, growing, growing!
Their hair, still notsomuch! haha
I feel like they’ve both gotten longer in the past two weeks. They are both getting chubbier, but Knox is still quite lean.
They had a good Thanksgiving which I posted here. Next year, they will be Thankful to eat yummy Thanksgiving other than in the form of milk ,haha.
They are still doing lots of tummy time. Sloane is almost starting to roll over, but she isn’t quite there yet. She has done it once or twice. Knox kind of just does it when he wants to.
This week they are both pretty interested in looking at one another, so whether on their tummies or backs, they aren’t working hard to do much except see one another.
Knox can’t keep his hand off Sloane. If she is in reaching distance, he wants to be touching her.
Last night, we got to noticing and thought maybe he is left handed. However, after asking my tweethearts, most said it’s not until 2-3 when you can determine. It just seemed like he was grabbing for things with his left hand..as well as Sloaney, my hair, etc. He was putting his left hand up to his mouth and not his right, etc.
Still swaddling. The night before last, about 4am, I noticed Knox’s hands were out of his swaddle and by his head. He was still sleeping, though, so we didn’t mess with him. I was thankful to see he was content like that and he didn’t wake any earlier than normal.
We are going to wait until we get to the new house and then we are going to put them in their own cribs and remove the swaddle at the same time. You know, kind of like a band aid. HA. Hopefully I’m giddy about unpacking, because I love to unpack, and then I won’t mind being up all night 🙂 According to Moms On Call, they should really adjust from no swaddle after about three nights. We just can’t intervne.
Knox had some stuffiness for a few days, but it got better. This morning, it seemed to have returned some : /
They both started drooling lots this week. Knox way more than Sloane. In fact, I just noticed her doing it some this morning.
Brent and I watched the Moms On Call seminar last night for 3-12 months. I HIGHLY recommend it if you have not watched it. Luckily, Knox & Sloane are sleeping good through the night and naps, but it teaches you a lot about sleep patterns and such!
A few people asked:
-Their jammies with the snowman in this post are made by “Nursery Rhyme” and we love them.
-Several recent emails on Sloane’s boots. I got them all a while back. Most are from Totsy or Zulily. They have been on there more recently as well. These sequin ones, which she has in silver and black, the brand is “Stepping Stones.” I think most are Stepping Stones and Vitamin Baby. These Ugg-like ones she has are by Stepping Stones. She has several others she hasn’t worn yet and she just got a new pair from Two Little Lovelies. She told me she wants to wear those soon, so I’ll be sure to snap a picture!
-As for the products and such we are using right now, I did those posts here and a follow up here, both this week. I’m still a little distraught and the fight we have to put up for ‘clean’ things for our kiddos.
Again, thanks for all the feedback on the wipes and such this week!
We are hoping to go see Santa soon! Knox and Sloane can’t wait 😉
Knox seems more fair complected than Sloane.
Between their Razorback outfits and Pumpkin outfits photoshoots last week, and a few other posts, I’ve shared most of the pictures from weeks 14 & 15 that I took with my real camera. Here are a few others and some iPhone ones 🙂
Oh, is the new iPhone 4…or the new system…is the camera better on it? I always thought the 4 had a good camera, but lately I feel like it’s just more fuzzy and blurry.
Knox & Sloane got to meet their friend, Simone, last week. Her mommy and daddy grew up with Brent but they all live in south Texas right now. She is about three weeks younger than we are.
Sweetest faces ever, aren’t they? 🙂
Knox discovered Brent’s beard 🙂
He can’t get enough of her…
Maybe I’ll put them in some festive outfits later and take a few pics!
Happy Friday 🙂
