So, I just got the 10 week post up yesterday ….here.
Today, Knox & Sloane turn 11 weeks old!
I can’t get over how much bigger they are looking and acting everyday.
Their smiles. Oh my word, their little smiles and giggles and grins. It just MELTS MY HEART. They are so funny. We have got to get it on video because it’s absolutely the sweetest!
They are also really cooing. Knox especially. It’s also quite cute.
I still cannot get over the fact that they don’t have more hair on their heads!! I mean have you seen mine and Brent’s hair? It almost doesn’t make sense! Knox’s hair, though, really seems to be coming in and coming in dark. I’ve noticed Sloane has started to get a little more this week.
Last night, we did bath at 7pm and feeding after that, followed by putting the babies in bed. Not one peep until 6:55! That is huge! They usually make it a while without eating, but about 4:30 or so, they usually like a paci and a good belly rub, haha.
Yesterday, Sloane did NOT want to nap. I knew she wasn’t eating enough during her feedings, and the color of her poop confirmed that, sorry TMI? haha. (And so you don’t feel weird sending me an email asking me…if you are breastfeeding and the poop is green, it basically means they did not empty the bre@st when nursing.) Anyways, she didn’t eat good, then didn’t nap good. The girl screamed. I soothed her. Repeat. Repeat. At her 4:30pm feeding she tried to play catch up and ate too much and then spit it up. Luckily, she did good and bedtime and maybe leveled out. She was in a much better mood this morning. Hopefully that lasts for today because yesterday I think I was grinding my teeth!
They are starting to get in a little bit bigger clothes. Mostly with Knox, we are running into the issue that his little sleepers are too short, but still big around his belly. I’m a little bummed because I know some of the Christmas outfits I got them will be too big. I’ll still put him in them, though 🙂
I have a lot of clothes that aren’t matchy-matchy, but I never realized I’d like them to coordinate as much as I do. I think it’s so fun. I figure I’ll have to play color coordinate for the pieces that aren’t actually the same design.
This week I took the babies to see my OB and his staff. That’s really been our only outing. It’s getting pretty cold here, so they probably don’t mind.
They are really into feeling and rubbing things.
They also are starting to put hands on face and around mouth quite a bit.
How about some pictures 🙂
I was trying to get them to smile. It’s like one second one one and the other wouldn’t, then, vice versa….
After the above two, I got this. I swear it looks like Knox put his hands up and was saying “nana nana boo boo” HA
I snapped some pics of them last Saturday while we were watching the Arkansas game. We love these gowns that Lindsey gave us 🙂
Lots of tummy time this week…
not sure what they are looking at above. I got their attention though…
Since we got out of the house on Halloween, they decided to wear their festive outfits one last time 😉
They were pooped when we got home…
I walked in one morning to find this….
Brent thought they got cold so he had put beanies on them, haha.
No, it’s not always big smiles. Currently, they are only crying and fussing when hungry or tired, so I guess that’s a plus….
This was yesterday….
This is what happens when they get tired at tummy time, haha…
For those of you missing Elton, here he is 🙂 He loves to watch Knox & Sloane…
Here we are today 🙂 (Sloane is blurry bc she was moving)
picture overload? haha.
Yep, now that it is cold, we wear clothes 🙂
