I keep thinking I won’t be MIA, but I have been! Sorry sorry. I think it will get much better. I really think this because today, Laura, from Moms on Call, is here showing up her magic tricks 🙂 I’m so excited about thankful for the opportunity to utilize the program, techniques and proven methods! I can’t wait to learn more and share with you all.
I’ve had lot of you asking me how Elton is handling our new additionS 🙂 He is here! He is doing great 🙂 He stayed with Brent’s dad until Friday. He came home and seems to be adjusting well. He has pretty much “stayed out of the way” but is being quite sweet. He does seem a bit confused as to why mine and Brent’s attention seems to be elsewhere. He is mostly hanging out under our bed when we are in the bedroom. He doesn’t seem to be hyper or stressed.
A few days before we brought him home, we took blankets fresh off Knox & Sloane over to him. He had their smell and laid on them a while before coming home.
I can’t say if the fake baby dolls helped, but in my opinion, I think they did some. I think getting the blankets to him probably did a great deal.
Elton is a dog, and though he was our first “baby,” things are quite different now. We have two real babies home with us. We love Elton dearly but he has taken a new role in the house…as the DOG.
And while I thought there was nothing sweeter than Brent with Elton…..
I’ll post last weeks giveaway winner tonight so you can still enter if you want!
