Today I am NINE months pregnant with the TWINS!
Knox & Sloane have been baking in me since the end of December and I cannot wait to meet them!
I must say, I am now shocked they are still in, but more thankful everyday.
One week from today we will meet them 🙂
We are SO excited it’s almost here!!
Thank you ALL SO MUCH for the sweet tweets when I tweeted about it this morning.
We had a good appointment today. No progress. My doctor first said he thought wanted me to go ahead and keep the 38 week schedule. However, once he started looking around and doing some measuring, he decided Mr. Knox is still pretty small and probably not going to do anymore growing in me. Therefore, we need to get him out so he can start growing more! This is very common with twins, which I had read and been told, so I don’t feel too freaked out by it.
Knox is measuring 4lbs 6 oz, but the doctor immediately said he doesn’t thin he is that small. It was really hard to get all of his measurements because he is pretty high up and I can’t move all too well to help. We shall see.
Sloaney is measuring 5lbs 4oz, so she will be our chubbier babe! She is down very low.
Everything I’m feeling is still normal. PAIN. That about sums it up, haha.
I woke up this morning and immediately noticed my face was MUCH puffier. I knew it was coming. My lips get luscious, too, haha.
There have really been a few times this week that I thought they could come at any second. I think I’ve had some random Braxton Hicks, but nothing too awful or consistent. Jut the weight of carrying them…and everything that goes with them. I feel like my bones are breaking.
I ordered a few things from one of my sponsors, Embellish Boutique, and she also gifted me as well 🙂 She is so sweet and easy to work with. I knew hand sanitizer and wipe cases were both things that would also come in handy! I hadn’t seen the decals on the sanitizer bottles, but I thought they were a cute idea. I opted for an “M” for our last name.
Brent got the car seats put in this week. We went to pick Elton up this morning and decided to move one out of the middle (for the time being) so he would have a place to sit. He clearly can’t sit in my lap right now : / Oh, is his world about to change, too.
Brent has been doing last minute errands this week. We had some exchanges to make at Pottery Barn Kids. My friend loved their organic swaddle blankets, so we registered for some. He picked those up and a cute little tiger. He said proceeds go towards National Geographic.
We have a few items left to put together. We were waiting on the carpets to be cleaned. As of this morning, the tile, air ducts, dryer vent (in attic) and carpets are all clean! It’s a good feeling.
I will post the nursery soon! Sorry! I’m still getting the curtains worked on and put up. Then, I’ll have Brent’s mom come take the pics. I do have a feeling you may see Knox & Sloane before the nursery 🙂
We have stocked up on some diapers… you would think. I think all we have would last us maybe two or two and a half months.. but not consecutive because of different sizes. I do, however, think we may attempt the cloth diapering. Not right away, but after a bit. I figure with the price of diapers, and as many as we will need, we might as well give it a try.
Well, here we are this week….
Here we are compared to 36 weeks with Cohen…
I hope you all have a good Friday 🙂
