I LOVED hearing all the recipe saving & storing tips yesterday! Thank you for those!
Sorry I’m a bit delayed! We had a busy morning and then a few people came by to visit 🙂 I like visitors! I’m starting to feel like I’ve not seen anyone in ages!
Today, I am 33 weeks pregnant with Knox & Sloane 🙂
In 35 days or less they will be here! CRAZY. Probably more like 28 days or less.
We had another good appointment today. Babies and mom look good. Babies are measuring right about 4lbs each. This does put them in a pretty low percentile, which kind of freaked me out. However, my doctor said he is fine with it and it is very normal. He said all along he did not think they would be big babies (as I’ve mentioned before), but they are doing great. He says he is thinking we will have two 5lb babies or a little above. He said they are still growing and doing the things they need to be/should be doing and that’s what is important. They are doing just that 🙂
He also said he is thinking I’ll have the c-section closer to 37 weeks and not 38 weeks but he would be able to determine in a few weeks.
The scheduling a bit early is due to the fact that it’s twins and I’m a repeat c-section. Once they run out of room, or I can’t stretch anymore, they will come. It they try to come on their own, it’s much more of a risky process versus knowing my doctor is there, the NICU team, etc.
My fluid looked good and all the pains and such are still normal 🙂
I go back next Thursday.
We made an appointment to meet with a potential pediatrician next week, which I’m also thankful for. I’m making a list of questions that I’d like to hear further discussion on.
Not much changing since last week…expect the pain 🙂 Smile for pain, huh? I know the pain is worth the gain. I will tell you, it hurts. No denying that. Plus, you would immediately know if you saw me walk, ha.
Things I’ve been having more of… nausea and skin/ligament stretching pains, pulling pains around my belly button, more stretch marks, etc. All of these I conclude are normal. Nausea is my gallbladder getting smooshed.
I check my sugars periodically and they’ve been normal. I will tell you, it’s been nice not pricking my finger 4 times per day!
They are still kicking and punching lots. It’s crazy how far I can see their legs kick out on my stomach.
A sweet friend also gave me a bigger LV bag that she didn’t want, so I’ll have that as well 🙂
We’ve tried to get a lot of our projects around the house done this week. The two main things I have left to do are going through, getting rid of and sorting the mail and magazines. We bit the bullet and got a filing cabinet. There was just no way around it.
A big box covered in fun polka dot paper arrived this week….
The nursery bedding and curtains were inside!!!…along with some other goodies. The curtains and bedding are SO SO SO SO PERFECT! I am so happy they turned out just like I had hoped for!
We also got most everything up on the walls. We, ha, my dad and Brent. I just sit and watch and say where…
Can’t wait to show you all! soon 😉
The twins got some really sweet goodies in the mail this week, but I’m trying to hold my promise not to post everything. I want them to model some things before you all see 😉
My baby shower is this weekend and I’m SO excited!!! I also have some besties coming in town which makes it that much better.
I think the invitations turned out amazing and I will post them soon, but for now, the sweet envelope 🙂
Here I am this week. No bare belly. I just didn’t feel like standing long enough to take one. Oh, and my arms do NOT really handle pregnancy well. I’m trying to hold it out so it doesn’t look as fat as it actual is, haha. I know they are plump for good production reasons so I don’t really care. Thank goodness for cardigans. I just thought no cardigan showed the belly better.
Here is the comparison with Cohen at 33 weeks. Didn’t realize I wearing sleeveless in these until I just pulled the post up.
There is kind of a difference, yes? haha.
Hope you all had, are having and will have a good Friday 🙂
