Thanks for the refinancing feedback yesterday!
I’m not sure where the flip flops came from, but I will ask my mom. Their brand is Guess.
I posted a while back about some DIY things I wanted to try. This is one I got all the supplies for, but have yet to do. It will hopefully be similar to the DIY cake stands I blogged about here. Maybe I will have some this weekend. I will, of course, blog the finished product.
I had this old rusty table/plant stand, or whatever you want to call it, sitting in the garage. It’s kind of bounced around the house on ocassion if I needed it for something. It had been getting a bit more rusty and I was sick of just seeing it sit there. I decided it needed a face lift. I had greeen on my mind, so that’s the color I bought. I think it looks super cute. I will tell you, I am NO expert on painting/priming/finishing. I really lack trust in myself to do much of this stuff without asking someone lots of questions first. Well, I didn’t with this. I just got the color and started spraying, haha. It’s not rubbing off and I even accidently left it sitting outside and it got stormed on.
The finished product….
This isn’t a huge deal to me, and probably not to Brent, because our deck is in rough condition. It looked pretty decent when we bought the house, but we should have put some kind of sealant on it a LONG time ago. We didn’t. Now, it’s weathered and falling apart 🙁 We clearly don’t want to spend the money to replace or do any major repairs, but it’s currently running the risk of hurting someone. So, maybe this will get some DIY love too. From Brent, of course. I don’t know if borads needs to be replaced or if they can be fixed. We will definitely need to find something to put on it as well. Have you done this? Any recommendations?
I also found these letters after Christmas someplace. I love mirrored everything. I thought I could use them in the nursery for something, perhaps. They aren’t very big.
Are you working on any projects?
