Today, I am 19 weeks pregnant with the twins 🙂
I’m more than likely, definitely halfway!
We got to see the twinkies yesterday and they are super duper adorable. I will post some pics below. Our doctor said it’s rare that we can get decent shots of both face at the same appointment, so he was all over it.
He was able to get a good view of baby girl’s heart and felt good about the way it looked! That made us feel wonderful
in fact I had the urge to burst out tears. Baby boy was squirming lots at that point so he couldn’t get to his. Our cardiologist appointment is next Thursday and we are praying both hearts look healthy. I’m SO ready. We then go back to regular doctor on Friday (normally it would be following week, but he will be out of town.)
Yesterday was a wonderful day. On top of seeing them, I felt LOTS of movement; more than I have yet! I even felt it from the outside. I could put my hand on my belly and feel the kicks. I love it anyway I feel it, clearly 🙂 I also like Brent will be able to feel that soon.
One of my best friends had her baby boy yesterday and it was such a special experience! I there with her from about 2:30pm to 1:30am AND she wanted me to stay IN the delivery room AND take pictures! So now, I’ve seen every part of a childbirth and it’s pretty amazing! Having had a c-section, I hadn’t seen much of anything.
Meet Saxon 🙂 Yep, he’s the one that loves elephants! Isn’t he beautiful?
I think I’ve had some insomnia and energy kick in. It’s kind of like I just don’t need much sleep. It seems so strange to me. I get the yawns big time in the afternoon, but they don’t seem to last long. I definitely get physically exhausted, but sleep is like something totally different. Sleeping isn’t too uncomfortable right now, but I am waking up on my back more than I would like to.
It was apparent at my appointment yesterday, I’ve grown. My weight went up FIVE POUNDS IN TWO WEEKS! haha. I was like, “umm, did I gain too much in two weeks?” He said nope; he said from here on out, it probably wouldn’t be like that, though. I knew that I had definitely been more hungry and had a better appetite. The kiddos must have been having a growth spurt.
Also, I physically felt the skin on my stomach stretch a few times this week. It was pretty bizarre, but it happened. I’ve not seen any stretch marks, yet. I’m sure they are just around the corner. I got three underneath with Cohen (that I saw after delivery) but they were minor and didn’t really last.
I’m still consuming LOTS of fruit. When I’m at home and I get hungry, it’s really the only thing I feel like getting. I did make toffee and cupcakes yesterday, which probably were not a better better alternative.
I’m having a harder time wanting to post bare belly this time. I don’t know why. I guess I really don’t know if anyone wants to see or if it freaks people out, haha. This is actually the first day I’ve thought to take any. I figured I might as well and go ahead and do a few since I did with Cohen. I can’t say I will post any the further along I get. I do think it’s a pretty amazing process of the miracle of life 🙂
Here I am this morning…
Now the comparison with Cohen..
