Thank you all for the kind comments yesterday!
Today I am 18 weeks pregnant with the twins 🙂
I believe with twins, this is actually considered half way. I would certainly like to keep them in a little longer than 36 weeks, but we shall see. I have high hopes of 38 weeks.
I’ve still been feeling pretty good this week. I’ve started to get tired and my stamina on my feet is starting to decline again. I have also had one or two bouts of nausea. I suppose the past few weeks of the “honeymoon” (as my doctor referred to it as) feel-good-stage I was experiencing might be coming to an end. Hopefully it will last a little longer. I’m hoping to get quite a bit done in April in May before I’m super large and it’s super hot.
I woke up with crazy allergies this morning. Lots of sneezing!
I’ve really enjoyed keeping an eye on the gender poll above. The majority of guesses are clearly boy & girl. We shall see 🙂
No doctor appointment this week. We go back next Thursday. Then, a week from then we go to the cardiologist. Time is flying by.
Not a ton of movement this week. I’ve felt a few small kicks, but nothing as constant as the ones I felt for a few hours last week.
It seems I’ve been quite hungry this week! With that being said, my appetite has also picked up. That’s probably a good thing as well. Honestly, I have no real hang up on the amount of weight I’m going to gain. It’s supposed to be quite a bit. I’m not eating a bunch of crap, so if the twins are hungry, I will eat. If that means I gain weight, then that’s the way it will be. Don’t get me wrong, I’m 5’2′ so weight can pile on quickly. Before PCOS reared it’s ugly head (post birth control), weight also came off quickly. I guess the downfall either way is that it’s typically noticeable no matter if the fluctuation is up or down. I have no major concerns that I will never lose baby weight. I want to do what’s best for the babies now and once they get here, and if that means eating and getting bigger than I’m use to, I’m totally fine with it.
I’m still on a pretty big fruit kick. My mornings and afternoons often involve this. I think I took this pic Sunday….
The super nice part is the fruit was delivered from my parents after a trip to Sam’s. It was even the big containers. The blackberries and strawberries are gone already…
I’m liking my pregnancy pillow. The only downfall is instead of rolling out of bed to tinkle during the night a few times, I really have to wake up more to get myself unwrapped out of the thing, haha. Overall, I think it’s really helping, though. Someone else happens to like it. I found this when I was getting dressed the other day…
Yay for parking 🙂 I had to go to a medical office building for work this week. There must have been an OB office in it because I found one of the below. I honestly think every place should have one or two. At Target, there is always at LEAST five empty handicap parking places.
My shirts are getting shorter and my jeans are getting a bit tighter. All signs of a growing belly I would imagine. I tweeted a pic yesterday of a dress I was wearing. I’ve always been a dress person, but when I’m pregnant, if the dress isn’t tighter fitting, it just looks and makes me feel like I have a sack on! I decided to do a little dressing comparing for my pic this week, haha.
The picture I tweeted yesterday…
Not my best look, huh?
Today, I picked a dress (it’s non-maternity, but still fits, and isn’t even short in front) to put on. I should have taken a full length pic. The dress is right about knee length.
I think that this at least indicates I’m pregnant.
I have a few that fit a bit tighter, as this one will soon, and they look more like this…
Now, I thought this shot may show if there was any growth this week….
And finally, my comparison to when I was pregnant with Cohen…
I hope you all have a great Friday! I’ll tell the genders on Tuesday!
