Showered with Elephants..Baby Shower!

One of my friends, Kristen, is pregnant with her fist baby boy. In the past few weeks, she has had a few showers and they’ve been adorable. I helped host one for her this past weekend. I’m going to share it’s adorableness with you now and I’ll post some pics from the other shower soon.

Kristen is using an elephant theme for baby Saxon so we focused the shower a lot on that. I must admit, I didn’t do much to help as I’ve been feeling pretty rotten the weeks leading up. I did the flower arrangements, cookies & picked out some of the little gifts. Jennifer hosted at her beautiful new home. She pretty much moved in the day before the shower!

{yes, I edited out all of the personal info.}

The parents-to-be

I had no clue Jen & Tallee put the ball, stand & elephant together. They created it on their on. They just started out with a stuffed elephant and painted the other two parts. Crafty!

Jen made these chocolates!

The girls that hosted got Judd and Kristen each a goodie basket of baby and parent things along with the goodies hanging from “the” tree :)

    That is way too cute! I love every detail. I think those little things (gum balls, runner on the table, etc) make it totally come together.

    By the way, how do you get so many pictures in one post and what do you use to combine pictures into one? I am a picture freak but still using the one by one method in Blogger and I know there has to be a quicker way when I see blogs like yours (unless, of course, you have more patience than I do!)

    No rush but would love to know!

    Cute.. Cute.. Cute.. Adorable spotted cookies. They, without a doubt, brightened the entire table. Good job! Wherever did you find the potted giant metal branches centerpiece? Thanks, I'm curious.

    Oh Megan!! You have inspired me!! I am giving a "Sip and See" for a dear friend who now lives out of town and is bringing her new Baby Boy Jeffrey to Midland for the 1st time. I will definitely be "stealing" some cute ideas. I would like to ask about the darling dotted overlay and runner y'all used. Is it just fabric you bought and used with a blue tablecloth, or what?? So festive!
    Hope you continue to do well. You are in my prayers!
