Part 2 starts our second day in New Orleans.
(part 1 here)
Oh, by the way, feel FREE to bust me out on my grammar/spelling mistakes : / It won’t hurt my feelings. I clearly don’t proof read and never hear about the mistakes for a few days until Brent reads.
On the second day in New Orleans, we up and went to Cafe Du Monde for some beignets. They were DELICIOUS. I love them, but I do think they were pretty exceptional at Cafe Du Monde.
RAZORBACK FANS WERE EVERYWHERE on the streets. We could hear people calling the hogs on our porch balcony. I know the location of Arkansas in relation to NOLA had something to do with the amount of fans, but we were 4 to 1 to Ohio fans. Needless to say, it was still a sea of red.
the hubs 🙂
tasty “fried donuts” 🙂
So, you may have read in my first recap that Brent had the great idea for us to “call the hogs” everywhere we went. Well, I guess the idea to initiate the hog call. We knew the fans would join. In the video below, I decided I would record. We ate inside and this takes place as we are walking out on the porch to leave. The video doesn’t really do it justice, but gives you an idea. You can also see a few smirks on non-razorback fan’s faces 🙂
Yes, I returned home with this…. I’ll let you know how it goes!
Jazz band in the square….
playing with dress up gear….
I seriously debated renting one of these…..
On the second day, we ate lunch at Mother’s. I was very impressed. I didn’t think I would like it all too much since it was lots of meat, but I loved it. Our good friends, Natalie & Blake, joined us. Forgot to take face pictures 🙁 Luckily, Brent snapped these with iphone….
