Creative title, huh? haha. I was just going to say ‘festive’ and then I realized not all the pictures were holiday related. So, I threw the ‘fun’ in too
I’ve been pretty quick to whip out my phone lately to snap pics.
Friday we had a holiday party to attend, but neither of us were feeling all to well. Instead, I made a few things to drop off. I’m not sure if the actual name for these bars are “hello dolly” bars, but that’s what my mom calls them. On the back of the Eagle Brand can they are called “Magic Cookie Bars.” I posted the recipe here. They are delish.
Tatum (our niece) had on this “Elton shirt” last week and we thought it was too sweet. Her mom said when they were at Old Navy, she requested (very hardly) to get the “Elton shirt” to wear with her outfit. Too cute.. the leggings and long sleeve part are both grey/white stripped.
Loving my tin can Lindsey gave me 🙂 Thinking I might have to get a few more to pass out baked goods in.
When in Target the other day, I came across this Organic Batter Blaster. Yes, pancake batter that you spray. I have no idea of the taste yet, but I immediately thought how nice the little clean would be!
Sweet Katie, from Eme*Kay Creatives sent me a headband! I love it. I’ve never thought headbands looked too cute on me, but I’m definitely planning to try this one.
Brent is obsessed with chocolate covered pretzels. They are SO simple to make. I dropped some off at the party we missed out on and saved some for him
and my prego friend, Kristen.
I last-minute-decided to do Christmas cards. I’ve had such a hard time emotionally doing thank you notes that I thought there was no way I could handle Christmas cards. I (we) changed my mind and I’m glad I did. I’m also glad I ordered this PSA Essentials stamper over the summer. It is coming in quite handy. I’ve wanted a stamper for a while, but always waited until the late minute before the holidays and it would have never arrived in time.
I seriously contemplate leaving these beauties around year round. I just love the festiveness…
Today, GroopDealz is offering a deal from Loved Stitched. I’m thinking about getting some of the $4 rosette rings for Christmas presents..so cute….
Yesterday I helped wrap lots of presents for less fortunate senior citizens in our area. Many of them don’t have friends or family that give them any gifts. My company sponsors trees around town, like the children’s angel trees. It was very rewarding. It always is. I’ve been participating with this for four Christmases now.
I also had a doctor’s appointment yesterday. Thankfully, it went well! Thank you to those who have emailed, tweeted, texted, etc. I greatly appreciate your thoughts and prayers. We are basically trying to get my cycle regulated/fixed/working and trying out a few different things.
*Don’t forget to enter my Christmas giveaway here 🙂 Also, I loved the response from people about wishing to do a giveaway on my blog. So, I’ll have giveaways brought to you in the coming year as well! I’ll be responding to those emails soon!
