So you all have asked a few questions in the last few posts. I've been meaning to get back to you on the answers!
The fake pumpkins from my pumpkin post. I mostly bought at Hobby Lobby. They were already half off several weeks ago so they were cheap! I believe Michael's has them too. I haven't painted new ones every year, but the past two years I have. However, since the below are mostly fake, I can use them again year after year if I want :) I can also paint and add more!
Nope, I did not paint the Elton Warhol canvas. My mother-in-law is a photographer. The picture of Elton was from a photoshoot she did one Christmas. She designed it, had it printed and gifted it to me for Christmas. I love it. It is a bit pricey, but to me, worth it. I'm speaking to her about a few things regarding it, but if you are interested, shoot me an email and I can give you some details :)
The Otterbox I posted is pink and it is for the iPhone 4 :) I know a lot of you mentioned you didn't know they had pink and I got a few emails asking if it was compatible with the 3. It's not. I got it at a local AT&T store when I got my phone.
The VIA vanilla is Starbucks version of instant coffee! You can mix it with warm or cold coffee. They come in individual packets for an 8 ounce serving.
I can't remember if I said thanks on all the comments on Cohen's memorial slideshow post and my post about the taking him to baseball games. Thank you all :) I may definitely take some of you up on offers to games! We would love to meet you all.
I think that is it for now! If you've asked a questions and I haven't answered shoot me an email.
Oh! GroopDealz is offering another special on the Jamberry Nails shields - $7.50 for 1 sheet of shields ($15 Value) - FREE SHIPPING. There is a video on how they work and all. I'm thinking of getting a few for stocking stuffers for my nieces :)

I hope there is nothing serious wrong with you! I just love your pumpkins. So cute ! :) I also think those nail shields are suck a cute idea. Heading there now! Thanks for the recommendation.
ReplyDeleteGood luck! I had the same problem a couple of weeks ago and the pain slowly made its way to my right side. Well to make a long story short, I had my appendix removed Thursday and I am still recovering. So be careful and I hope you get to feeling better!

Hey for the pain in your side, try a ginger bath - take about a half cup of ground ginger, and pour it into a bath as you would epsom salts - lay there for awhile, you'll get all flushed b/c the ginger stimulates blood and lymph circulation - you'll also sweat a bit. Afterwards, go to bed, and by the time you wake up you should feel better! (I'm an herbalist and SWEAR by this one!)
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better soon!
Hope you feel better soon! Don't you just love Hobby Lobby with the half off!?! My favorite is when they do frames!! :)
ReplyDeleteGlad you're okay (for right now at least)! I saw that on Twitter this am and i was like oh my gosh! I'm definitely going to get to Hobby lobby or Michaels when they've got pumpkins on sale and get some to paint!
ReplyDeleteI love your pumpkins too! :) I'm not really a doctor, but I hope you feel better real soon!
ReplyDeleteHope you're feeling better. I think I pulled something in my butt last week. Love your pumpkins and Warhol pic. Is it a canvas?
ReplyDeleteI love the Elton Warhol!!! So cute.
ReplyDeleteI am glad there wasn't anything terribly wrong and hope the pain goes away.

ReplyDeleteThanks to you, I now get the GroopDealz emails. I love it!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd your pumpkins look so fabulous- I love this time of year!
IV's are definitely not fun! It's a good thing you did go to the ER though. I recently refused to go to the ER when I was in pain because I'm a stubborn student and would rather spend my time in the library. Turned out I had a very large kidney stone and the doctor said if I had come in before I passed it they would have done surgery immediately.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I've been reading your blog since the Hudson's (who are photographing my wedding) linked it on their blog back in late May and have been praying for you and your family ever since. I tweeted at you (lanyemichelle) Saturday night about the TOMS but realised you probably had no idea I was one of your readers. Sorry for the awkwardness!
Oh no!! I am sorry that you have been in pain...I hope that it goes away soon!!
ReplyDeleteI hope that the pain goes away sooon! That sounds horrible!
ReplyDeleteHi there. I have been reading your blog for a lil' over a month now. I've been blogging since 2008(started it when I started my infertility journey). I never really read others blogs until this year. Now that I have a ton of time on my hands because I'm a SAHM I get the opportunity to read about others and relate to them. I wanted to let you know that I adore you and your husband (not in a creepy way) LOL I love your blogs, and have journey'd through them to catch up on what's been going on with y'all (Yes, I'm from Texas). You have such a heartwrenching, miraculous story of how God's love has worked in your lives through the birth and passing of Baby Cohen and the struggles of grief that your family has endured. I wanted to let you know that after reading your Memorial story I started praying for you and your family..and continue to do so on a daily basis. I even read your story to my husband and showed him your slideshow. We both prayed for you with tears in our eyes. It's hard to understand what God's purpose is sometimes. I appreciate you putting yourself out there about your inferility problems because, I, too have PCOS and had struggled for almost 5 years with infertility.
ReplyDeleteAbout this post--I started having left side pains about 2 1/2 weeks ago..bend you over in agony-type like you were having. I finally decided to go to the doctor because they were getting worse every day and he said he thinks I have a duodenal ulcer. You might take that into consideration. It's caused from a bacteria in food and they gave me prescription medication that contains Prevacid. I've been taking it for two weeks and if that doesn't work then I have to go and get scoped (sounds fun, huh?) My pain has calmed down a lot..now every once in a while I get a dull pain on that same side. I've never had anything like this happen to me..so it's all new. Caffeine, NSAID pain killers (Ibuprophen, Aleve), smoking can make it worse. Just thought I'd throw that out there because I thought I had pulled a muscle, too. But I will continue to keep you and your family in my prayers and wanted you to know how amazing I think the both of you are. Take care and God Bless!
Oh..I love your pumpkins. I'm a artsy fartsy type so I will definitely be doing this next year. Thanks for sharing your creativeness!
Get well soon! Love your pumpkins!
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better soon!!!
ReplyDeleteoh bless your heart how scary...i would of gone in too. hope that muscle strain stops hurting for you.
ReplyDeleteUgh! I hope you feel better! Sending good wishes your way : )
ReplyDeleteI totally would've "diagnosed" you with an ovarian cyst that was rupturing (I, too have PCOS) - I'm not sure if you've ever had to experience that lovely-ness but it's horribly painful! :( Hope you're feeling better!!
ReplyDeleteThe emergency room??? Yikes...I'm glad there was nothing majorly wrong. I hope you're feeling 110% soon!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE all your pumpkins! So adorable!
I love the pumpkins, I may do something like that to help decorate our little apartment. Thanks for the inspiration!
