I’m trying to get back in the swing of things. My house is pretty much back in order. I am back to work. I’m back to life, although it’s a bit different now. Life after pregnancy isn’t exactly what I imagined it would be. I guess not having my by bambino in my arms has something
everything to do with it. I’m trying to make the most of it though. Cohen wouldn’t want my life to stop.
I feel like I’ve gotten back to my blog. I’m working to get back to your blog.
Before we found out about Cohen’s CHD, I read lots of blogs. I sat around and relaxed and just read away. I even had time to leave some comments. That all came to a pretty complete halt as of mid February. Our minds changed. Our lives changed. I didn’t have time to do anything. I wouldn’t take any of it back, of course. I so appreciate you all keeping up with us, and reading this blog & leaving helpful and encouraging comments, even when I didn’t have time to do the same.
So, whereas I had imagined myself changing lots of poopie diapers and doing lots of cuddling, I am not. Well, I take that back. I do lots of cuddling with Brent and Elton. So now, when I do have some down time, I’m trying to reply to your emails, writing some thank you notes and start getting back to your blog. There are many blogs out there that I’ve not read before and I’m looking forward to it.
As a reminder, if you leave me a question IN your comment, the quickest way for me to get back to you….is for you to have your email set up for me to reply to the email I received notifying me of your comment. That make sense? Directions HERE.
I’ve thought about getting one of the interactive commenting systems for replying, but I don’t really know if I have that great of a need for it…. i.e. disqus… opinions?
I’m also trying to figure out something else. When I get a follower and click their picture, sometimes it shows they have no blog. I go on thinking they don’t have a blog. Then, they leave me a comment and they DO have a blog. Why doesn’t the page I get to after clicking their picture indicate their blog link? I’d love to be able to see the blogs that come to mine.
When a word is bold, it is more than likely a link to a site or a post where I’ve spoken about something. It’s basically a reference. I get emails asking about things, but sometimes I’ve left a link to give ya the info. Would it help instead of making a word bold (and putting a link in it) to put you can click here (HERE) ?..such as, the cake from Jessica’s party (HERE) was …. typically, I would just bold and link the word ‘party’. However, with the emails I get on things, I often wonder if people don’t know the bold words are links. Should I just change the color of the linked words?
The cake for Jessica’s party was Italian Creme Cake WITH chocolate covered strawberries! I did cheat and have a little 😉
Thanks for the sweet comments in my last post…well, all my posts really. You all are too nice! Today is my last day of 500 calories. I’m done with the drops. Starting Wednesday, I eat the same foods, but I can increase calorie intake significantly. My original post on that here.
I’ve gotten many emails about the HCG. I am working to respond to them. Be patient with me 🙂
The teal polish I used (HERE) is Sally Hanson Insta-Dry in Blue Streak (240). To me, it’s pretty teal.
Thank you all for liking my hair curly! (HERE) I do like it curly and I wear it that way more often than I use to. However, I forgot to mention….when I wear it straight, I can go MANY days in a row without washing. So, that kind of makes up for the 20 minutes to dry and straighten it. On the other hand, if I wear it curly, within one day, it starts to dread underneath. No joke. It’s just not as easy, actually, to wear it curly without washing every single day.
The other day I got this comment from KS @ While We’re Waiting…
