Prayer Quilt for Cohen

First of all, don't forget to enter to win the giveaway in the post below!

Also, SO glad you all shared your opinions on the questions I asked in this post! I learned lots of new things I can't wait to try someday! I'm sure I'll think of more questions as I love hearing everyone's opinions.

A few weeks ago my sister-in-law's sister-in-law's mom contacted me. That's a mouthful, huh!? Basically, mine and Brent's friend Callie. Her mom contacted us. Brent and his sister grew up with Callie and she married the brother of Brent's sister's husband. Make sense? haha

ANYWAYS, Christy, Callie's mom, contacted me letting me know that a lady in her Bible study group makes prayer quilts and Christy suggested her current prayer quilt be for us. The lady who makes them was about to start a pretty blue one :) Christy had let her group know about our situation and we have been blessed with their prayers. The quilt was passed throughout the Bible study group for people to say a specific prayer with it. The quilt was then placed in a Sunday Church service at a local church. There was a brief summary about our situation written in the church bulletin. Each knot in the quilt represents a prayer that was said for us!

Cohen has some amazing blankets! :) HERE is the first one I mentioned that was blessed for Cohen at St.Peter's Basilica in Rome. So sweet of people to surround us with prayers! I'll start snuggling with these blankets soon and then Cohen gets to once he arrives.

I hung the quilt on the wall to take the pictures, and this little guy kept trying to stand as close as he could. I told him I would get a picture of him too....

I'll try to do a Prego Mego post tomorrow for week 34 and 35. I can't believe I'm almost 9 months!

Hope you are having a good week!

  3. Oh goodness - I am so happy you're almost 9 months along. I remember when I started reading your blog before you announced that you were pregnant with Cohen and I discovered we both have PCOS - seems like a really long time ago. You have come so far; your son is going to be so cute!

That quilt is absolutely darling and I laughed out loud of the picture of Elton. He kinda looks like he is saying, "Helloooo?!, aren't ya gonna take my picture?!"

Good luck with everything in these next few weeks. Praying for you and your family!
