Penny's Hug and Chug!

Hi all :)

Sorry I've been a bit MIA! I've had some computer issues! I know I rave about my MAC Powerbook but after 6 or so years, it's starting to have a few issues. It may just be glitches in my settings ...along with the power cord. I'm having some repairs done. I'll still rave about how good of a computer it has been. I'm a MAC person.

On Saturday evening, I helped host a "Hug and Chug" for one of my bestie's daughters, Penny Lane! Penny was born in January and we had a welcoming party for her. It was so much fun. We went with a western theme. I was in charge of the flowers and decorating, though I had lots of help. I think everything turned out cute and fun! I took some pics and they are below. I'll do some explaining with them.

The invitation - The blurred out spots are personal info...excuse my Christmas magnets..that's all I could find in the drawer to hang it by the light.

Welcoming table

These were SO yummy!

Some of the girls made cute cookies shaped in hats! I didn't snap a pic but it's in the bag!

Jessica and myself (Penny's momma)

I can never decide vertical or horizontal and they took both, so I figure post both.

Us :)

Lucy! Her light up cowboy boots were awesome.

Penny enjoyed sleeping at her party :)

Lucy loved the oranges!

Big Baby Beaux! :) (our nephew) Yes, he is a big one!

hubby was pretty funny with him. They danced.

Cameron and me

Penny woke up with wide-eyes!

:)

Did you all have a good weekend?

I LOVE the time change! I like it staying lighter later!

Today was pretty busy. I had someone help me clean the house to get it ready to list, the computer guy came over and I worked!

Tonight hubby brought me home one of my favorite things :) I'll snap a picture and post in my Prego Mego tomorrow. I'm certain they are one of Cohen's favorite things now, too. Hubby also cooked dinner. He made poppy seed chicken...yum! I'll post it on Sugar & Spice tomorrow.

Wow what a cool theme. I love that it wasn't overly pink and girlie (although I do like those too). Different is good.

The decorations are amazing! Did you have that stuff at home?

This is such a cute, unique idea! Love it.

I love my MAC too, but have been having issues after just 3 years. And this last time Apple lost some of my data ... GRR. Funny because I just posted on my facebook last night wondering if it was possible to hate Apple, but be in love with my Macbook and my iPhone! LOL
