Prego Mego ~ Week 19

Hi everyone :) Well, I'm considering myself halfway today! I'm 19 weeks and when doctor gave me my due date, he said more than likely Cohen would arrive at 38 weeks. I CANNOT believe I'm halfway there. Sometimes I still can't even believe I'm pregnant! It really is still crazy to me!

I'm feeling great!

I'm not very tired and night so I have a hard time falling asleep. However, in the mornings, I'm SO tired :(

Starting to really plan the nursery. There are SO many decisions I feel like. I've started working on picking fabrics this week and hopefully the bedding will be started in the near future :)

Round ligament pain is present. It just feels like your insides stretching a bit.

I finally figured out Cohen is for sure on my sciatic nerve! I love having pregnant friends and mommy friends :) I had been having a lot of lower back pains and figured that was what it was. Then, every now and then I would have a sharp shooting pain really low on my spine..like into bottom. People probably think I'm nuts because I just yell out loud when it hits. Well, I still get sharp ones, but I'm also getting more mild constant ones. Hopefully he shifts off the nerve.

Speaking of shifting, I'm feeling him shift some though still no major pokes or jabs. I feel like his head is on my right side because when I rub my belly, I feel more hard area there. I ask him to kick me. I'm probably going to regret that at some point! I want to pay attention when we see him next.

We see him next on February 4th.

He is about the size of a large heirloom tomato weighing about 8.5 ounces.

I'm not craving tomatoes. No, I crave something much more healthy right now....like CONEYS! haha. If you haven't had a coney, you should. They are like a smaller version of a hot dog but so much better. We have the BEST coney place here! Every afternoon I start craving one. I don't always act on it.. though I might have 3 times in one week :) I use to have a pic of the conyes on my computer but I must have moved it to my external drive. They definitely deserve a post soon.

Still loving the cherry limeades from Braums, celery & banana pudding. I'm NOT a milk person and I've actually been wanting some milk. I've been eating a green apple every day too...delish. On Friday night, hubby got me bread pudding from a local yummy place and on Saturday night about 6, he met his boss for a drink and picked me up a cherry limeade to have with the spaghetti I made us for dinner. Spaghetti didn't sit well. I had a small bowl and a small salad and I felt like I was SO full I was going to bust. It hurt.

Last week, I went with Jessica to register at a local baby boutique! She works there though she knows the ends and outs! I wanted to get registered before she goes on maternity leave (any day) so she met me there and helped me :) They had such fun things and I can't wait to pick out more if new stuff arrives!

Saturday afternoon, hubby and I took our first trip to Babies R Us. Oh my goodness! There must have been 500 people there! We spent most of our time in the stroller section. It was quite hysterical and I would have given anything to have had a video camera with me! I would sit and watch him open and close every stroller that we liked. Let me tell you, some of those suckers were hard. Once he finally got it mastered, he would have me to try. If wanted me to be able to open it and shut it easily. He doesn't want Cohen sitting in the hot car while I'm struggling to close his stroller in the pouring rain. Some of them he had trouble working. I think some of it had to do with the fact they were the floor models and had perhaps been abused, but man, I just can't imagine people putting up with some of them that seems so difficult! We did find one that was quite simple, cute and a good price. Still some debating there. Oh, he made me lift them all too..as though I was putting them into a car. My muscles have got to get bigger. We must have eliminated two simply for the weight. I also wanted to add, he drove the strollers around the whole store to see how they moved, haha.

Cohen has gotten some cute things lately :) I have such sweet friends & fam! I'm certain we should have that little razorback onesie in EVERY size ..and then into a t-shirt. He must always have the razorback available to wear.
Cohen picked this up this week :)

And here I am at 20 weeks. This was taken about 4 hours ago..before dinner.

Hubby took the next two on Saturday before we went to Babies R Us....

My belly looks bigger in this picture than it did in todays picture! I do believe this was after a nice Mexican meal for lunch :) Or, maybe my hand on there changes things? I don't know! I promise it was 3 days before today's picture.

My parents are here for a few days so that is nice. I always tend to be off my feet a bit more when they are around :o) (Not that hubby doesn't wait on my quite a bit lately!)

I'm working on pulling on some Valentine goodies around the house. Yes, I'm a holiday decorator :)

I have posts still to do on some blog awards, my birthday & a sushi cooking class!

I think in the next few Prego Mego posts I'll show the furniture and then hopefully the bedding fabric. FUN!

Hope you all are having a good week!

xoxo ~ Megan

ok...you've got me with a puzzled look on my face over here. How do the doctors know when he will come?? Are you having a scheduled c-section? Most new mama's go late..not two weeks early! So...I'd love to know whats going on, haha.
