Prego Mego ~ Week 13

So, the first few weeks of my pregnancy I sent out an email to my family (cousins) and closest friends. Many of them were texting and calling to check in and ask me questions. I created an email each week telling them how I was feeling and so forth. Now that I'm blogging about the pregnancy, I figured each week I would do a Prego Mego update on here. No, I problem won't be as detailed as I was in my personal emails..but you probably don't want me to be ;)

Today, we had a doctor appointment :) Doctor believes Baby M is indeed a BOY! :) He says he is now probably 99% sure! He didn't open his legs as much this time but he was being quite the wiggle worm. Doctor showed hubby and I would it was making him a boy..and I believe it's there! This sonogram was just amazing! We could see the fingers, eyes, spine, brain, etc.. It is just SO AWESOME to see everything forming in our little baby. It's still unbelievable there is a little baby inside me!

The heartbeat was 169. He measured his neck and said it was measuring right on track. He said everything was looking perfect! It was like music to my hears ....along with the fast little heartbeat :)

He didn't say one word about my weight..so I'm pretending with Thanksgiving and the size of boobs, he didn't even bother, haha.

After the sonogram, he told us to ask away with whatever questions we had. I really didn't have many! Actually, only one! CAN I EAT LUNCH MEAT?!?! I am CRAVING sandwiches! He said of course! He said the risk runs in meat that has been sitting out for a while. He said it is primarily only risky in the first trimester and I would have known if I would have caught something and would have already been very sick. He said I could continue with my sandwiches :)

So, I won't leave you waiting any longer....

I LOVE sandwiches and veggies. This is a club from McAlister's...yum. I usually just get turkey.. I forgot to tell them.

I could also eat sushi EVERYDAY. No, not this much sushi. When I say sushi, I don't mean a bunch of raw fish. There is only one particular roll I'm currently eating while pregnant. He has avocado, cream cheese, jalapeno, deep fried shrimp wrapped with rice then seaweed and it is so very delicious. When NOTHING sounds good, that sushi roll does. Friday night, we decided to pick up food. Hubby wanted some Chinese from Panda Express. It took us pulling up to the drive-thru for me to decide, I couldn't do Chinese. When he got his food in the car, my stomach started turning. Needless to say, his food rode in the back of the car. We went and got me my sushi roll. Two, yes. I could have done three.

I HEART Icees. It must be a REAL Icee brand. The fake ones just don't taste as good. I like cherry with just a dab of the cola one in there. I try to pretend the Icee cola has less caffeine than an unfrozen one...though it probably doesn't.

So there is what I'm craving for now :)

I'm feeling pretty good. I only get sick once or twice a week..and there is no rhyme or reason...that I've determined anyway. The cold weather has kind of done a number on me. I think it makes me ache a bit more. Sleeping, oh that makes me ache too. I thought our bed was SO comfy up until I got pregnant. WHAT HAPPENED?! If you all have any tips on that, let me know! I feel like I'm starting to get some energy back more each day so that is exciting. I was pretty worthless there for a few weeks!

I'm emotional, yes. I think that is just part of the package. I do really good at the doctor's office but any other time I cry at the drop of the hat. I just think at the doctor I am just so focused on the lil baby that nothing can consume me :) Now, when I have Baby M's pictures in my hands, those comsume me!

We go back to the doctor on January 4th (my birthday) to see the baby again! I will be 17 weeks then.

We do have a few names we are liking but nothing set in stone. We will announce the final name...when it is final :)
