Hi everyone!
Thank you all for the sweet comments on my previous post!! We are so thrilled about the baby!!!
Here are few random pics I've snapped around the house regarding all things CHRISTMAS :)
I haven't posted my Christmas decorations though I will soon. I have, however, posted pics of my trees you can find here.
I participated in an ornament exchange on Jill's blog and I got the ornament below! HOW CUTE IS IT!? I love it! It's from Candance and it fit perfectly on my tree! I snapped the pic before I pulled the cute card out of the box to set next to it! I also put my ornament in the mail and forgot to take a picture! The ornament exchange was fun! Thanks, Jill for hosting :)
Speaking of ornaments, I think I've mentioned we have a few Boston Terrier ornaments. When we were pulling ornaments out, we set this one by Elton to see what he would do...
He tried to play with it, as if it were real, for like 5 minutes, haha!
I've learned Christmas candles or not, no candles can go in the attic. It just gets too darn hot! Yes, these are completely demolished candles....
Back to ornaments... I have a big container of silver, gold and some red. I have a big container of mixed colors. Then I had some I got on sale last year, still in their store boxes....
Well, I wrap them ALL with tissue. Is this crazy? Do you guys do this? How do you store your ornaments?!
When I was spending so much time by the trees while decorating, Elton wanted to as well....
Since this the first Christmas card we got in the mail so, I decided to post it! How cute are they!? They are our good friends Kyle, Jessica & Lucy...and Penny, too :) She is about to have #2!
I love walking around the ouse and seeing my tree lights in mirrors....

I just really love this picture...
I know this post was pretty random. I didn't have much to post about but I figured since I've been snapping pictures, I might as well post them!
Last night, after living in our house for two years, I finally got some more things put up on the wall! I'm terrible and hanging things so I had my friend, Kristen, come over and help me. I say help me. I helped her by handing her tools. I didn't do much! She is a master at hanging. I felt like my Christmas decorations didn't look complete with so many bare walls! I'll post pics of that soon! I LOVE the turnout.
Tonight, we are having Kitchen Queens cookie decorating get together at my house! I'm excited :)
Hope you all have a good day!!
xoxo ~ Megan

So fun!!!!! And great pictures, beautiful!!! And Elton is way too adorable!!!!! :)
Your dog is adorable. Love him sleeping and trying to play with his 'twin' ornament...too cute!
These are great photos = love them!
Just thought I'd share a great ornament storage solution. Two years ago, my husband bought me containers (that look like rubbermaids but are some other brand) and they have cardboard dividers inside them to store the ornaments. I don't know if you can get them anymore but he got them at Home Depot. They stack very nicely and don't get too heavy!
Aww, I love that you started a kitchen queens club! I want to do that too!
I keep my ornaments in the boxes they come in. Same way I store my shoes ;)
haha, that is too funny that elton tried to play wit the ornament! the picture is adorable!!
the ornament you received is very cute too!
hope you are having a good week hun!! :)
send me your email address please :)
I wrap all of my ornaments individually in tissue paper, too, you are not alone! That picture of Elton with the ornament is so adorable. That should be your next Christmas card!
I can't wait to see all the Christmas decor in person tonight!
So glad you liked the ornament :) And Elton with his mini ornament is too adorable!
LOVE the ornament!!! so gald you played. :) elton is an absolute doll, mom. hope he won't be jealous when baby m arrives! can't wait to see all your christmas pretties ... i love stealing ideas from you! and yep ... i wrap my ornaments in tissue too unless i still have the original box. happy cookie party night!
this post was so cute! so funny how elton played with his look alike ornament! he is so cute! i'm jealous of your kitchen queens get together, that sounds like so much fun!! have a great night!
i'm new to your blog and i love it!! my fave pic was the twinkling lights in the mirror... always puts a smile on my face.
i have a boston jack russell terrier mix!! i haven't met anyone with a boston or jack russell yet! elton's adorable!!!
Aw. I love the one of Elton and the ornament! HAHA. That's so funny. He's like, "I'm gonna devour you!".
I've been wondering myself how we can start storing our ornaments. Last year we just had them in their original boxes in one BIG box...but even that is kind of annoying. I want to get plastic totes for decorations. We have zero organization when it comes to that stuff since the move...gotta get on that! :)
The mirrors are so pretty!
cant wait to see you tonight:) and see your cute itty bitty lil baby bump:) you are presh and your house looks darling!!
I love all Christmas ornaments. The ornament you got in the exchange is precious!
Great pics! Elton is too cute eyeing that ornament version of himself!
I love that ornament that you got!! That pic of your dog staring at that ornament is hilarious! I am cracking up , he looks so serious!!
I put my ornaments back in the plastic case they came in, and then put all those in one big rubbermaid container. I've never lost an ornament yet! And I am rough with them! :)
elton cracks me up. we like set mirrors up in front of our dogs to see what they do.. usually they just look at us like we're retarded... but we die laughing. ever wonder what our pets think of us?!?
random.
and i wrap everything in tissue paper too.. except for the ones i have individual boxes for.
I had a huge amount of tissue as well! I love the picture of your dog and the ornament! Too cute!
Of course I'm a big fan of the boston ornament. :)
