Christmas Decorations :) Part 1

I LOVE Christmas! I love decorating for Christmas and any holiday but Christmas is my favorite :) No, I did not decorate in one day. I have a growing lil bebe in my belly and I've had no such energy! I did this probably over two weeks. I would do a little each day and I started pretty early in the season.

Before you look below and maybe look at post 2..please keep in mind that I did not buy all these decorations this year. I didn't buy it all last year either. The hubs and I have lived in a house for 6 1/2 years. Actually, we lived in an apartment for 6 months and now in a house for the past 6 years. We have lived in our current house for a little over 2 years. Let me tell you, the attic needs to be bigger for the containers of Christmas decorations! I haven't bought any staple Christmas items this year. I've bought some ribbon, material for tree skirts and that's about it. I bought a TON of ornaments at 80% & 90% off last year for my serendipity tree. That was a smart move. I purchased nearly $300 worth of Christmas items for about $60! You can see here. I took all the pictures with my new camera though I'm still trying to learn the settings. I will say I'd like to know how to make the sparkle and glitter visible in the pictures! Everything sparkling in the decorations aren't too noticeable in pictures.

For making this in 5 minutes, I felt pretty good about it. I try to change the front door wreath each year. The ornaments have the "stems" on them. I wrap them around pieces of the wreath.

Don't worry...it's not real. I'm scared Elton would take a tiny little bite if a piece falls on the floor. I looks pretty close to real in person...
This tree is very sparkly..but once again, you can't really tell :(
The next few pictures are taken in the "front room"..it's part sitting and part dinning room. It isn't really a "finished" room. The Chairs are all black and white so I did mostly colorful decorations throughout...

I love this crystal martini set but it just kind of sits here most of the time...I'm not a huge fan of the table it sits on but I haven't really felt like looking for anything else right now.
I put these pretty flashy jewels in them

Love the crystal ice bucket but I only use it a few times a year. I stacked it with mini presents :)

Centerpiece on the table. The branches are SUPER DUPER sparkly silver glitter. LOVE them! Behind is my Serendipity tree. You can view that in the tree post I linked above.

I know...we have GOT to get that TV hung. I'm working on it. I do NOT like it there...it won't be there forever.


I try to change the table tray out some throughout the year. I should leave this gold one year round because I really like it...
