Being Thankful...meeting bloggers, spending time with friends and eating :)

Hi everyone!! :) I'd like to officially say that I'm baaaack! It feels good. It is now recap time for the week of Thanksgiving!

Hubs and I headed to Dallas early Tuesday morning. When we arrived, I met with Blue Eyed Bride, Mrs. Preppy (and her precious daughter!) & Megan from Tales of the Trees for a wonderful lunch! We met @ Mi Cocina in the West Village and it was yummy! It was nice meeting BEB & Mrs.Preppy! I wasn't nervous or anything and we all had great conversation! I have been able to dine with Megan several times :) Yes, I'm good at eating, haha. Here are a few pics I snapped....

After lunch, hubby and I shopped around the WV, went to Stanley Korshak and then went to NorthPark.

Tuesday night, we went to dinner with one of my besties, Natalie. We lived in the same town for about 10 years and I'm pretty sad we don't live closer now. However, the drive isn't a bad one at all. We need to start seeing one another more often!! Me, Brent, Natalie and Natalie's brother Charlie went do a awesome dinner. We ate at Traverna and it was SO delicious!! It was my first time and hopefully I go back! Here are some pics I snapped...

Natalie is SO excited about that baby! She has been begging us to have one since we got married.

:) Um, yes my face is starting to look super puffy. This should be concerning considering I'm only three months, right?
(yes, people have asked me if there are 2 babies in there, haha)

Wednesday morning, Natalie headed to work and hubby and I went to the Galleria. I felt like I hadn't been to the Galleria in years because we always go to NorthPark. I wanted to see the tree. We thought about ice skating but decided not to. We had a small breakfast at La Madaline, which I LOVE.



After the Galleria, hubs and I met some of our good friends, Field and Lauren, for lunch. I grew up with them and they happened to be in Dallas visiting as well! We ate at The Capital Grill @ The Crescent and it was amazing. It was my first time there and I'm sad I forgot to take any pictures! I was probably too busy stuffing my face! It was so nice to spend time with Lauren and Field!

After lunch, we headed to my mom's hometown! We were there from Wednesday afternoon until Saturday around lunch! That is another post :)

I'm STILL working on Christmas decorations! I can't do anything for long periods at a time therefore it is taking forever!

I'm hoping since I'm 12 weeks today I will start gaining some energy back!! :) I can't believe the first trimester is making it's exit! Wahooo!! Since I did a baby belly picture at 11 wks 2 days, I'll wait until next week to post one. I don't think much has changed! We have our next appt next Monday so I'll do a fun post after that! Actually, I'll probably still take a picture tonight because I was kinda wanting to have one for each week since I started taking them at 10. So I'll maybe I'll post that tomorrow!
