Yummies and A Birthday

Two things I am loving right now!!

Last Tuesday night, before we went to dinner at Morgan & Curtis', I made these!
They are jalapenos stuffed with cream cheese wrapped in bacon! YUM

This is what they look like before going in the oven...

These are the things I used.
Jalapenos
Turkey Bacon
Green Onion
Cream Cheese
Salt & Pepper
Onion powder
Garlic Powder
Toothpicks
Latex gloves

As I said before, I didn't really go by a recipe. I just kind of did what I thought would taste good . Here it is....

*This was my first time to do anything with jalapenos. My mom warned me to use gloves or else my hands would be in so much pain! I used the gloves and had no problems! I cut the end of the pepper off (where stem is). Then, cut if half long ways. I just used my hand to remove all the seeds and white insides.

* I diced up some green onion and put it along with the cream cheese, s&p, garlic & onion powder in a bowl. I mixed until pretty soft. I then took a spoon and filled the jalapeno halves.

*Cut each piece of bacon in half as well. I used turkey bacon but you can use whichever you prefer. Wrap bacon around peppers then put toothpick in.

* I baked on 350 for about 20 min, then broiled them for about 5 minutes.

*They turned out great!

My parents brought some of these the last time they were in town. I had one and they were SO good. So, I bought some :)


Today, is my friend, Jessica's birthday!!! :) She also found out she is having a baby GIRL!!!
