Weekend Recap ~ Part 1 :)

Hi everyone :) How are you? Is it raining where you are? It has been STORMING here for about 3 or 4 hours. It pretty much got dark outside about 3pm. Lovely... At least we had some sun for a few days!

We had a fun weekend and I took quite a few pictures! I am probably going to do two or three posts to spread everything out and not have just one HUGE post.

Friday, the hubby and I headed to Fayetteville. It is so nice living so close. It was the first home football game weekend. We got to spend time with out friends which we wonderful. We went to a Boombox show on Friday night. Saturday, we didn't wake up to tailgate. Then, we had to head home after lunch because we were hosting Morgan's(hubby's sis) baby shower. Hubs was a little bummed but we WILL be attending more games :) Here are some pics I took in Fayetteville...

Brent saw some contest on the internet with sunglasses on dog's bottoms? I have no idea..I just took the picture like he asked me to...haha!
One of my besties, Natalie, came to Fayetteville too! We became friends in high school and both went to Arkansas. She now lives in Dallas. I hadn't seen her in a few months so it was fun to hang out even if it was just for one night. Hubby and I have been trying to plan a trip to see her but we just haven't found the time yet. Soon though, we will!

us girls :) yes, I have a romper on. I gave in and got one. It was SO soft and comfy.
For dinner Friday night, me, hubby, Allison & Kyle went to the 36 Club! It was one of our FAVORITES in Fayetteville and we miss it so. I always get the smoked salmon fettuccine...SO good! I also had two Restaurant.com coupons that we were able to use. Saved a few dollars. The best part was having gotten to eat dinner with Allison & Kyle TWO Friday nights in a row :)

We haven't stayed out that late in a while. Hubby was dragging the next day. He also had a stomach bug. I drove us home. He slept..yes, still in his pj's. haha


We got to home and I began to gather things for Morgan's Shower. I was a host and in charge of plates, napkins, some platters, flowers, etc. Here is a little preview of the cuteness in store for my next post :)

We don't stop being fans when the Hogs lose. We still love them. They need a little work, yes.
