The Weekend is Here :)

So, I love Fridays. I always have! They just end up being good days. First off, on my post yesterday, I forgot to mention that I had a WONDERFUL lunch with friends Lindsey & Emily. We ate at Olive Garden. I've now met with them a few times and I am enjoying becoming friends. They are such sweet girls :) We are so excited for Emily to have Cate!

Yesterday I spent about 2o minutes on the phone with my fertility nurse. She is SO nice and helpful. She always seems to make me feel better. The thing is, she and my fertility doctor have not yet seen this skin issue (by the way, I like the term "skin issue" a lot better than rash). I feel like my dermatologist just does not know what else to do. He has referred me off to a few other doctors and no luck. So, I told my nurse, I want to meet with my fertility doctor, Dr.B. They have my dermo records and she went over everything with me from the beginning. Starting with Shingles when I was 11 years old. We do now have a plan. It may consist of me going to a doctor out of town that Dr.B knows. I may also go to a skin and cancer treatment center. I'm switching birth controls. I'm going to do the Nuva Ring. Nurse MK believes it could have some properties in it irritating my skin..such as dye. They still firmly believe I need to do another round of birth control and possibly one after that. I guess depending how the hysterosonogram goes.

I was tempted to post a picture of my feet yesterday. They hurt and itch..and yeah, they don't look good. I just can't imagine anyone wanting to see. My only thought is, what if someone else is or has gone through this. I've now gotten two emails from girls wanting to help and telling me about things they have gone through. I appreciate it SO much. I really think there are some similar aspects and things I'm going to try. Thank you girls!! They simply explained that they understand my misery and were willing to type long emails out to me about their conditions. I've told them I hope that some day I can help others!

My hysterosonogram is scheduled for next Wednesday. I'm a bit nervous for it. I didn't realized it entailed a few steps. A two-pill antibiotic. I take one before I have the procedure and one later that night. I have to take some meds for pain before I go in. So yeah, I do not know how this procedure works. Megan has me curious as she has warned me her experience was not pleasant, lovely! haha

Last night I made a YUMMIE recipe!

Thai Lettuce Cups - by Racheal Ray, found here

Ingredients (serves 4)
* 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil (EVOO)
* 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
* Salt and freshly ground black pepper
* 1 red bell pepper, cut into strips
* 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
* 1/4 cup honey
* 2 iceberg lettuce heads, cut into quarters and leaves gently removed to make the lettuce cups
* 1/2 cup honey-roasted peanuts, chopped
* Juice of 1 lime
* 1 handful basil, chopped

Preparation
Place a large skillet over medium-high heat with one turn of the pan of EVOO, about 1 tablespoon. Season the chicken with salt and pepper and cook in the pan until golden brown on all sides.

Add in the red pepper and cook until soft, about 3 minutes. Add in the chili sauce and honey and simmer to reduce it and coat the chicken.

To serve, lay the lettuce leaves on a platter, then scoop some of the chicken mixture onto each leaf.

Sprinkle with the chopped peanuts, lime juice and basil.

*The chili sauce I got was not called "sweet chili sauce"...though it was a tad sweet. I think it was "garlic chili sauce"..seen as red in jar with green lid in above picture. It was VERY spicy for me! I am not a spicy person. I figured it would be a bit much for hubby even... and it was. I called my mom because she knows everything when it comes to cooking. Yes, I call her almost every time I cook. She said since honey was mixed with the sauce, that sugar should help some. She also told me to put ketchup in it. That helped as well! It didn't change the flavor at all. - Thank you, mom :)

After dinner, hubby and I watched this..

It was rather interesting. Good for the most part. We thought some of their lines were extremely corny. Mostly the ones Beyonce' had in the ending female cat fight scene. Hubby also watched The Happening. I didn't pay much attention. It seemed strange!

Have you all been watching the crazy Atlanta Housewives? No matter how ridiculous it is, I just can't stop watching. I think they are hysterically funny! If you haven't watched, you really should if you want some laughs.

I found out today that hubby has 7 days still left to take off for the year. I really didn't think he had that many. Very nice surprise. I'm hoping we can take a vacation some place. Maybe Cabo or NYC. Our friends, Jen & Tallee, are going to Cabo for EIGHT weeks! Lucky girls. We have really been itching to go to NYC as well. It will have been a year in December since we have been. We shall see! His days don't roll over to next year so I suppose if we don't go anywhere, we can use the days around the holidays! You like how I say "we can use"? :) That is because I'll be taking off the same days as he does..duh :)

Remember how I gave you a preview of us watching the girls on Monday night? Well here are a few more pics I snapped. They are SO fun!

they wanted a group pic, haha
:)
eating a cookie

I loves them
this cracks me up. one of them is attacking brent and one attacking elton, haha!
LOOOOVE uncle brent!

**I will leave you with this...

a text message I received from my husband this morning (word for word)...

"Rachel McAdams is single again honey. I'm going on my lunch break to make my move."

haha, he cracks me up!

Hope you all have a super duper fabulous Friday!!!

xoxo ~ Megan

Good luck with the sonogram. I've been through all kinds of girl pain and I know that NONE of it is fun, but just breathe your way through it! :)

The meal looks delicious.

We thought Obsessed was entertaining but totally cheesy, too. Lots of fun!

Are you trying to have a baby? I got confused when you said you have a fertility doctor & then you are on birth control. We tried for 2 1/2 years & had just started seeing a fertility specialist when all of a sudden I got pregnant! It was such a blessing & we are so excited. We will celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary this year & I think the timing is perfect. And, my twin sis is pregnant too. I couldn't have planned it better! I know all of you girls struggling with infertility will get your little blessing someday. I'm praying for you all :)

The Happening is weird. I want to see Obsessed. Maybe I'll see if my husband can get it. I think Ali L-?? is so pretty.

I hope ya'll have a good weekend!

Hello everyone!
I would like to burn a theme at this forum. There is such a thing, called HYIP, or High Yield Investment Program. It reminds of financial piramyde, but in rare cases one may happen to meet a company that really pays up to 2% daily not on invested money, but from real profits.

For quite a long time, I make money with the help of these programs.
I'm with no money problems now, but there are heights that must be conquered . I get now up to 2G a day , and my first investment was 500 dollars only.
Right now, I managed to catch a guaranteed variant to make a sharp rise . Turn to my web site to get additional info.
