I bought three of these....
why? because I decided to go play tennis. Is it good I bought THREE of the skirts today (mostly bc I got two on sale)? Yes, because in the matter of one day I have become a tennis player :) I played tennis for FOUR hours tonight. Two hours with a coach (then dinner), and two hours after with hubby and 2 friends. I love it! A few of my friends have been taking lessons but I never agreed to go. Why? Pure laziness really. Well, I'm glad I did! I took lessons for several summers as a kid but just always found things I enjoyed better.
So today, I happened to pick THE hottest day to start...but it REALLY wasn't that bad. LOTS of sweat..sorry tmi? Let me tell you, as far as a workout..I really felt like my heart beat so fast for the entire time...AND it was a fun workout! The bad news, the only thing I invested in today were cute skirts. Tomorrow....
why shoes too? Well, MAJOR blisters :( NOT good! I did browse shoes today and let me tell you, they are not very attractive at all. I did come across the above online. They are Stella McCartney for Addidas. I shall check them out!
Any of you all play tennis? I have a lot of practice to do! I'm short but so far I've heard I'm quick..I just need to work on my back swing and hand-eye coordination :)
I'm sure there will be pictures to come...someday...when it's not so hot out, haha.

I just started following your blog- and love it! I have been playing tennis since high school and think it is one of the best sports out there! The skirts are so cute and can totally transition to the golf course if you are a golfer too! I have the cutest tennis raquet cover from Vera Bradley. Ebay has a ton for sale if you are interested!
i love those skirts! I used to play tennis in highschool and was pretty good. My dad was number one in the state when he was in high school

I LOVE the ruffled one! So cute! I am horrible at anything that requires hand/eye coordination. But earlier this week I asked my brother to take the tennis rackets over to my MIL's house, so she could bring them to us this weekend. Poor Ty will spend a lot of time watching me chase the ball, but it will be fun! :)
I played high school and college tennis. I can't say I was ever Suze Superstar but I was good enough to play a match that was entertaining. Plus, it is great exercise and a great lifetime sport. I really need to get back into playing more often!
I love tennis too...unfortunately none of my tennis-playing-friends have moved back home yet! You're luck you have friends (or a husband) who can play! The skirts are adorable...they're half the fun:-)

FUN! You'll really enjoy it and good choice on the skirts. I typically play three or four times a week and am the captain of a team here in Dallas. I hope I play forever! I know that sounded super gay, but I do! Maybe if we're ever in T-town at the same time we can hit.
