my weekend.... :)

was very relaxing :) my parents got in thursday. i am still typing with one hand...so no proper typing. i think i over-worked my arm mon-thurs so, i was in quite a bit of pain. my mom drove me around for work friday..which helped a lot! we also went by the farmer's market and got lots veggies, produce, etc.. i had not been wearing a sling and a nurse at one of the offices i called on told me i really should have one on or the swelling would not stop...duh, why hadn't i...doc... thought of this. my hand is still swollen but probably not as bad. the sling has definitely helped...but mostly from allowing me to do anything!!! UGH..annoying. sorry, i'll stop complaining. however, my mother, she has already done SO much! loads upon loads of laundry. she has also stayed in the kitchen cooking!

friday night, we laid around the house. mom cooked the most delicious ham ive ever eaten! it was amazing. morgan, curtis and the girls came over. saturday, we hung around the house. brent and i went to a pool party at some friends house for a bit. hubby's dad and girlfriend came over for dinner. mom made pork tenderloin, beef tenderloin, potato salad, etc. yummie, once again. sunday, my dad headed back home and mom stayed. before he left, he dropped 10 pounds of hamburger meat off for dinner. brents dad cooked it and we went and ate at morgan & curtis'. mom took her famous crackers, black bean corn salsa, potato salad, etc. tonight, she made hubby and i chicken piccata, fried okra & angel food cake. so yeah, except me to be a chubby bunny by the time she leaves! haha
