Thank you to my mom :) & randoms...

My brother went home to my parents a week or two ago. I should probably take a picture of EVERYTHING my mother sends back...maybe next time. She always sends SO much! We are in SUCH need of a deep freezer! She cooks and ton and freezes things and sends it to us! She also picks up little fun things for us all the time! She is the greatest. Sadly, we won't be able to see her ON Mother's Day because we will be in route to Mexico. However, we will be able to see her Friday & Saturday :)

I really think there should be more than just one day to honor mommies..what about a week? or a month? I'm not just sucking up, but really. Think about it. They teach you all the basics in life...how to feed yourself, wipe yourself, talk, love, manners, tie your shoes...and so on! They do most things for you up until you think you have grown up... at the age of 13. They watch you turn into a teenager but still tote you around. At 16, you begin to drive. They are thankful...for a bit. Then, they wish they were still driving you around. Then, 18 comes around and you move out. They are glad at first. However, I have a sneaky suspicion they miss you soon there after...well maybe a year after? haha

These are two things I REALLY loved that my mom sent to me recently...(do take note, my husband thinks my mom has a shopping problem and I think he is starting to keep a close eye on me, haha) She gets me some great things though!)


I ate these all as soon as I opened the box. I was craving sweets! They are pretzels with Rolos and nuts on them. These are the directions she included to make them.
She used smaller thicker pretzels.
Heat oven to 375.
Put Rolos on pretzels and heat for 4-5 minutes.
Once out of oven, take a whole or chopped pecan and press onto Rolo softly.
THAT'S it! Simple huh? They are SO YUM! I love pretzels, caramel and chocolate.

How cute is this? It looks like a little pink planner, right?


Nope! It's a tool set. A girly tool set. For me. To use inside the house :)



In other news....

IT HAS GOT TO STOP DOING THIS........!!!!!!!!!!!



I think we are on like day 6 of rain? I'm SO sick of it!! I like rain. I think it is nice and cozy if I can sit at home and watch movies. It is not pleasant if I have to drive around (work) in it all day. I feel wet and cold non-stop, haha. My hair has been in a pony tail. My feet have been wet and it is just chilly and gloomy and well, boo! Perhaps it is preparing me to really "soak" in the beach and its beautifulness.

Today I jumped on the Twilight book bandwagon! We are going to Mexico with a group of 8. Five girls and three guys are going. I believe several of the girls will be reading and re-reading these. So, today I bought the first two to take with me. I guess you could say I cheated and watched the movie first. I liked it but I am so excited for the book because I've heard a lot of people say it is better!





Have you all read the books? I hear the first and the last are the best! What do you think? What about the movie...opinions??

Does anyone know if you can overdose on this?


My nurse said to take extra this week to prepare my immune system to fight Mr.Swine if he runs into me. I've been taking lots of chewables.

HAPPY CINCO DE MAYO!! :) We probably would have done something fun but the rain has been coming down so hard!! After the gym, me hubby and brother went to dinner at the Brook the came home!

Well, that is all I have. I'm so tired. Have I mentioned I joined a gym? Yes, yes I did. I for sure have been sleeping better! Perhaps this is a post coming soon. Hope you all are having a fab week!!!
