I cannot believe today is the first day of March!! It makes me feel like it is time to pack up my coats and sweaters. However, the town in which I live has the craziest weather! It is going to be in the 20's tonight, 40's tomorrow and 80's the rest of the week. We had a nice relaxing weekend! It may be the last for a while. We will both be traveling next weekend then, the following weekend begins wedding season!
This weekend I spent time with husband and friends and family. Friday night, husband and I went to dinner at Sonoma Bistro & Wine Bar with husband (Brent's) sister, her husband and friends Jamie & Cameron. Afterwards we met a few friends at Louie's. We then went to Grant's, where we ate pizza and played Bond. Well, the boys played Bond. I cannot play that game!
Brent snapped this picture of Elton sleeping in his spot next to me.

Saturday, Brent and I went car shopping! We found one!!! It is pretty much a car Brent has always wanted. However, it will be a week or two before we are ready to purchase. We are nervous it may sell but hopefully not. Once we get it, I'll post pictures! After car shopping we went to Morgan's (husband's sister) to hang out. We ate there, stayed entertained by the girls, watched TV and headed home.
I snapped this picture of Brooklyn and Tatum doing their "performances"..so cute!
When Brent and I got home Saturday night we snuggled in bed and watched "My Best Friend's Girl". I liked it! I thought Kate of course did great! I'm not a huge fan of Dane Cook, but overall we thought it was cute! We also got caught up on Nip/Tuck from last week.
Today, Brent and I went to brunch in Utica Square at Queenie's. Delicious!! Afterwards, we went and visited with his Grandma. We haven't seen her enough lately and we are going to make a point to be better grandkids. She lives about 10 miles from us which takes about 20 miles on Tulsa Time. That should make no difference. She is 88 and she is adorable! She always tells us the best stories. When we got home I did some laundry and laid around. I caught most of "My Girl", which I love! I could watch it every day. I have been watching it for 18 years. Thomas J & Vada are precious. My favorite part is when they kiss and Vada says "say something"...Thomas J stands up and starts saying the pledge, haha. The part I hate the most is of course when Vada's dad goes in her room to tell her what happen to Thomas J...then his service at their home. I MIGHT have been sobbing...(yes I've seen the movie 50 times).
Finally, winding down! We had family dinner at Brent's parents tonight....11 adults and 4 kids..always a good time. Time to get in bed. I hope everyone has a great weekend!!!

"Weeping willow with your tears running down, why do you always weep and frown? Is it because he left you one day? is it because he could not stay? On your branches he would swing, do you long for the happiness that day would bring? He found shelter in your shade. You thought his laughter would never fade. Weeping willow, stop your tears. There is something to calm you fears. You think death has ripped you forever apart. But I know he'll always be in your heart.~ " ~ Vada, My Girl
