Ryan, Rachel & Bowling

So if you've seen The Notebook, you know who Ryan and Rachel are. Brent and I like Rachel McAdams very much so. We think she is great. I really hoped her and Ryan Gosling would get married. How could you not after The Notebook? They were together but I think they broke up..sad. ANYWAYS, tonight Brent and I watched Wedding Crashers (with Rachel) and Fracture (with Ryan). Wedding Crashers is so funny and I laugh and laugh every time I watch it. Tonight was our first time to see Fracture. It was REALLY good. We both enjoyed it and it was very suspenseful! I think you should watch it!

I've been blogger m.i.a. for a few days. I had another shot Thursday morning. I was fine until afternoon and I started feeling nauseated and the "injection" site starting hurting...like sharp shooting pains that will make me start crying in the middle of Target. I did ask my nurse about this when I went because they were bad the first time. She said it is typical as is nausea. I am supposed to keep an eye on the nausea to make sure it doesn't get worse each time. I had lab work done for my estrogen levels as well as vitamin D. I should hear back on those by next week. She shot me above my bottom in the opposite hip from the first shot. So needless to say, I laid in bed for about 15 hours. Not sleeping...why? because that would be too pleasant! haha. My lack of sleep is making me irritable. Instead, I have hot flashes all night.

Finally, by Friday afternoon, I was feeling better. I got showered up and went to the store. Brent started feeling bad on Thursday night as well. He has stuffy nose, sore throat, etc. He woke up and called in sick Friday morning. However, after about 10 minutes, he said "I need to go to work.." so he got up and went! Once I was feeling better yesterday I agreed to go bowling. Grant, our friend, had sent an email out at the first of the week about planning something. So we had Kristen & Judd over for dinner then went bowling. We cooked shrimp & steak kabobs, sweet patatos & salad. I suppose drinking wine when nauseated is not always the best idea because I did NOT feel pleasant this morning! Brent woke up even worse and can't stop blowing his nose, poor thing. He never gets sick. He helped my brother move all day and I helped this afternoon. We had an engagement party to attend tonight for our friends Amanda & Derrik. We didn't make it. We both felt miserable. So, we went to McAllister's to eat then came home and watched movies! Now, we are off to bed.
