Birthday Season Year Round

So, I do love birthdays. I've decide to include a birthday "shout-out" ,if you will, in my posts about the special people in my life.

Today, is my mother-in-law's birthday. Her name is Lisa and she is awesome. I got really lucky with my mother-in-law. She is a wonderful mother to her kids...all 100 of them. She treats me as though I were her own. Did I mention she is a great photographer? Yes, in previous posts perhaps. She is indeed. Also, all the comments about the new picture...thank you...but I should thank her!!! Thank you, Lisa. I am glad you all reading like it!

Yesterday, I watched a slideshow for an engagement session she did. I just kept thinking how good they were and even though I'm not engaged I still wanted another engagement session. It's addicting.

ANYWAYS, this is Lisa :)


Last night we went to her studio for some snacks and cocktails. Then we saw a movie as I mentioned below.

On the way, I got to ride for a bit with these cuties below. They are my nieces, Tatum and Taylor. They too have birthdays coming up! Of course I whipped out my camera as they were being little hams.

I love been an aunt and daughter-in-law. I have fun girls that live so very close to me. Hopefully my mother will be here in the future too! :)

Do you remember me saying I wanted to be a coupon queen? Well, I've been working on it. I now get the newspaper on Sundays. I print of coupons on the internet. There are lots of sites that have coupons. It is as simple as selecting the products you use and clicking print. You can even search for specific products. I put two buttons to the side of my page for good deals. One, is signing up for a Betty Crocker Newsletter. General Mills mails you coupons and recipes and you can access things online. Also, Gevalia coffee has a special right now. You can get 3 half pound bags and a travel mug for 3 bucks! I think that is a great deal and they have about 15 flavors you can pick from. If I'm making coffee at home, I typically drink folgers. However, my mom purchased Gevalia in a few flavors several years ago and I loved them! Anyways, try it out..shipping is included!
