If you haven't, you should!

(shop for SALE Christmas decor!)

So I did get a taller Christmas tree for next year. I decided ours was too short. It was 7 feet. I will still use it in a different room. The week BEFORE Christmas, I stopped by Ace Hardware. I had gone once before in December. They had a 9 foot tree on sale from $300 down to $200. Well, after much debate I decided to wait to see if it would go on sale anymore after Christmas. I already had mine decorated as well. Anyways, I went in the Friday before Christmas and they had their trees 75% off! Of course I could not resist. She rang the tree up and it was even more than 75% off! I bought the tree for around $67 bucks!

About 2 weeks after Christmas, I stopped by Hobby Lobby. They had all of their Christmas decorations 80% off! They had quite a bit of things left! I decided with a new tree, I needed some new ornaments! At Serendipity in NYC, they had a bunch of colorful ornaments and I loved them. So, I decided I would buy a BUNCH of colored stuff so I could come up with some neat ideas next year. Right now, all I have is the basics, mostly silver, gold, red green...a few fun colors. Needless to say, the cheap prices were VERY irresistible!

I purchased ALL of this..there are about 43 packages/items..Probably 100 or more ornaments. BEFORE sale it would have been $291.00 and I got it all for $58!

I got 14 packages of these ornaments to make these trees with. 2 bucks orginally and $5.60 is what I paid..including in the able.

The insirpation of colorful ornaments! Serendiptiy in NYC.

Me with my frozen hot chocolate. I was making Brent take pics of decor, haha.

They also had a few home items on sale for 66% off. BEFORE sale it would have been $166 (which I would NOT have spent). I got it all for $56!

I'm going to use these candle holders on my buffet for Valentine's decor w/ red candles.

I love to sale shop! All of this would have $457.00!!! I got if for $114!

happy post-Christmas shopping! ~ Megan

Jealous! Tell me how it's fair that my town still doesn't have a Hobby Lobby?!? Everytime we go to the inlaws, I hit Hobby Lobby big time! But it's never after a holiday =( Boo.
