Hopeful and Ready

Brent and I sometimes get sucked into watching the Bachelor/Bachelorette. We haven't watched every season but we watched the last season when DeAnna was the Bachelorette. The newest Bachelor, Jason, was in her top two. Needless to say, she did not pick him. I really liked him best. He was very sweet and kind. He also has a young soon. He was picked to be on the newest season and I'm very HOPEFUL that he will find a good one! I also like to see a few cat-fights...haha..Watch if you can!

The addicting Gossip Girl returns tonight too!! We most not forget One Tree Hill either We love that show and are addicted to it. It's been on for several years and I even watch re-runs on the soap network as I previously posted. We stayed up until midnight (dumb) last night to watch old Big Love episodes! We like it too. We are clearly TV people even if we struggle to fit it all in! Thank the Lord for DVR!

I hope everyone has a great week :) I'm super tired from the weekend. The bowling party was a HUGE success! I'm so proud of Brent for gathering so many of my friends together :) It was wonderful! I'll post pictures soon! Yesterday we went to lunch at Chimi's with a group (we do this most Sundays), laid around then went to dinner at Brent's parents. Thanks to everyone for the sweet wishes :) We were going to go to Texarkana next weekend but I don't think we are anymore. Just going to hang here :) Relaxation is needed after the holidays!

I am very much anticipating my first shot on Thursday. I've been ready for this since my Doctor told me about it. I started birth control a little over 2 weeks ago. It still isn't my best friend. It has made my face way puffy and..well lets just say I almost need a bigger bra..not fun! It is just an inflation device. I suppose that will all stop on Thursday. I did start a low carb diet..or lifestyle if you will. I started last week. It hasn't been too bad. I haven't really gotten on the scale. They say starting off, that you lose inches and not really pounds. I have definitely had some cramps. I think it's because I don't have carbs and sugar fueling my cysts.. very weird. I never have been a big meat eater. Espically before I met Brent. His family loves meat so I've become a little more accepting to a few bites of steak. Meat has NO carbs...pretty much ALL meat. This is kind of hard because I LOVE fruits and veggies. I'm just having to work them in and figure out everything. I'll keep you all updated!
