Lucy is here!!!

My sweet friend Jessica had her little Lucy on Wednesday, December 17th. She was in labor for 10 hours!! It was worth it though because Lucy is a little doll.

Very Merry Christmas :)

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!! Ours was great! I've not blogged in several days. We have been busy with family, friends, food and fun gifts! I am sad this time of year is coming to an end. It won't be on my blog though! I've got MANY pictures to post...be ready :) My parents left this morning :( I've had a relaxing day today (watching old 90210/OC/Christmas movies)...I needed it... unfortunately, I've been sick since Christmas morning. I've not had a sinus infection or flu in several years and I have a little something now. I've been dosing on Tylenol Cold & Theraflu. We have a surprise birthday to attend tonight. How was everyone's Christmas?

NYC Day #2

BEST HUSBAND EVER!!!!!!!! :)

So, my husband has been teasing me for a week or so that he picked me a present out all on his own this year. He asked me a few weeks ago if there was anything I wanted. I had told him one thing I wanted but then, a few days later, he said he found something else. Yesterday, he called and teased me that the "present" wouldn't lay down and was hyper... insinuating that it was a puppy!! That was exciting..however, we had already talked about a new puppy not being a good idea on Elton's little heart.

Today Brent called several times questioning when would be the best time to give me my present. Of course I wanted it ASAP because I was so excited that he was excited about picking out something for me. He had the present shipped to his work and one of his lady co-workers offered to take it home and wrap it up for me. When Brent came in from work today he had a beautifully wrapped package with fun decor on the ribbon.

I opened it and found this.....

CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?! He did so good :) I am so very proud of him. It was exactly something I wanted. It wasn't what i told him I wanted because I was just thinking of something I could utilize (a tall jewelry box bc I have stuff EVERYWHERE). I have a perfectly fine camera now. However, I have had it for several years and it is getting a bit worn out...I lost the case and never got a new, it has been dropped by others several times, etc... I've been talking about wanting to get a nicer one some day in the next year or so. In NYC I talked about wanting a good camera for all the beautiful things there! WELL, he went above and beyond! He got me this Canon G10. It got 5 of 5 stars on the Canon website. You know what, I'll just take some of the "features" listed off the Canon site and post copy it below...I'M IN LOVE!!!

The camera is a perfect size! Yes, it is bigger than my last but that isn't say much. I used a Canon Rebel recently. Now that was big! This one isn't and it is even a better camera!! I'm not crying anymore but this gift made me for sure cry like a baby!

NYC DAY #1

FINALLY - Some NYC pics :) I've been a busy girl but I got them all uploaded. I actually tried for the past few days to make a Slide Show of the pictures but it took forever to upload them to slide website and then they seemed a bit blurry. I figured I would do the best ones in a single post for each day. This way, you can click to enlarge and I can elaborate more. I'll also include links (if one exists) to places we went in bold italics. We had a wonderful time!!

This is Johnny Utah's off 5th. We went here waiting for Magda to get off work and it was a good time. There was a mechanical bull. It was like an upscale country bar. Everyone wore black..I think they came straight from work. It was decorated cute.

If you look close you can see a guy..probably in part of his suit, riding the bull.
